THE MOST SUCCESSFUL WRESTLER WHO REBOUNDED AFTER BEING BURIED BY WWE, NIKKI CROSS-BRAY WYATT?, GALLOWS & ANDERSON AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2019-04-19 10:00:00

Could the reason Nikki Cross hasn’t been given a permanent home is because she may be aligned with Bray Wyatt?

There's always a possibility, but I haven't heard anything that leads me to believe that's the direction they are going in.

I hate the way WWE buries people.  Can you think of even one person who has overcome a WWE burial to be a major name?

Triple H was buried pretty bad back in 1996 coming out of the Kliq celebration in MSG and I'd say he's done pretty OK for himself.

Did Chris Adams ever work for WWE?

To the best of my knowledge, Adams was never used by WWE in any fashion.

Chris Benoit’s son from his first marriage was trying to break into wrestling a few years back. Have you heard anything about his efforts since? And, do you think he could have any sort of successful career, or has the stigma of being associated with his father ruined his chances? If he did become a wrestler, do you think WWE would ever approach him, or stay away just to avoid any potential bad press?

David Benoit has been a regular visiting at WWE events in Canada but beyond that, I've never heard of him still pushing to pursue professional wrestling.  He was going to be used on an independent show with very little training before the idea was dropped.  It's possible he could decide to train and pursue the business and that would certainly be his rught, but I think it'd be extremely hard for him to make a run in the business, which is extremely unfair to him and unfortunate, but I can't see how anyone aware of who his father was would be able to disassociate what happened in the Benoit tragedy and be able to enjoy his son, who looks just like him, wrestling.  That's just my opinion.  I don't see WWE looking to hire him for all the obvious reasons.

Any update on Gallows and Anderson?

No, they have remained steadfast that they will be exiting WWE this fall.

With Easter coming up, who played the bunny with Adam Rose?

It was multiple people, including Justin Gabriel.
