ROH and IWGP Tag Team Champions The Guerrilas of Destiny will defend the ROH titles against Mark and Jay Briscoe at the 5/12 War of the Worlds tour stop in Villa Park, IL at the Odeum, it was announced in a new column by Kevin Eck on the ROH website.
Quinn McKay, who has a good look and has been working on the independents, will be used here as a backstage interviewer.
Josh Woods, who signed a new deal here awhile back, returned at the 4/12 TV tapings in Pittsburgh.
With Dave Finley out due to surgery, ROH is teasing Flip Gordon could join the Lifeblood faction.
ROH is teaming with the NWA for next Saturday's Crockett Cup in Concord, NC, featuring:
*CROCKETT CUP FIRST ROUND: The Briscoes vs. The Rock N' Roll Express.
*CROCKETT CUP FIRST ROUND: New Japan Pro Wrestling representatives Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata vs. Villain Enterprises' PCO and Brody King
*CROCKETT CUP FIRST ROUND: Flip Gordon & Bandido vs. CMLL representatives Stuka Jr. & Guerrero Maya Jr.
*CROCKETT CUP FIRST ROUND: The War Kings vs. battle royal winners.
*Battle Royal to determine final competitors.
*Semi-Finals and Finals.
The event will also feature:
*NWA Champion Nick Aldis vs. Marty Scurll.
*NWA Women's Champion Jazz vs. Allysin Kay (fka Sienna).
*NWA National Champion Willie Mack vs. Colt Cabana.
