COMPLETE EVOLVE 126 REPORT: DRAKE VERSUS STRICKLAND, MENDOZA VERSUS THEORY, A CHALLENGE TO ADAM COLE, A SKULK THREE WAY, AND MORE

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s coverage of Evolve 126 from The Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida.

Lenny Leonard and Ron Niemi are in the ring.

They welcome everyone to tonight's show and they talk about the Evolve and WWN Championship matches.

Match Number One:  Milk Chocolate (Brandon Watts and Randy Summers) versus Task Force (DMC and Mikey Spandex)

Summers and Spandex lock up and they go into the corner.  Spandex misses an arm drag but Summers misses a double stomp.  Summers with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Watts tags in and hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles.  Summers tags in and applies a wrist lock.  Watts comes off the turnbuckles and then Summers tags in and hip tosses Spandex and Watts with a splash.  Summers gets a near fall.  DMC chokes Summers in the ropes.  Spandex with forearms while the referee is dealing with Watts.  DMC with elbow drops.  Spandex tags in and goes up top but jumps to the mat and rakes the eyes.  Spandex with a front face lock.

Summers with forearms but Spandex with a forearm and DMC with an enzuigiri.  Spandex with a German suplex for a near fall.  Spandex with a reverse chin lock.  Summers with a jaw breaker and then Watts tags in and kicks DMC.  Watts sends DMC to the floor and hits a clothesline off the apron.  Watts with a leg drop off the turnbuckles and then he connects with a knee to Spandex.  Watts avoids a knee and then he gets the three count with a crucifix.

Winners:  Milk Chocolate

After the match, Task Force attacks Milk Chocolate.  Babatunde's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.  Task Force feel like they have made a connection with Babatunde and they shake hands.  DMC and Spandex realize their mistake too late and Babatunde sends them to the mat.  Babatunde with a hard Irish whip to DMC and then he chops Spandex.  Babatunde picks up Spandex and then chops him again.  Babatunde with a splash to DMC followed by an elbow drop.  Babatunde with a splash to Spandex.

Babatunde wants a high five from Milk Chocolate but Summers cannot leap high enough.  Watts is able to high five Babatunde.

Match Number Two:  Lacey Lane versus Brandi Lauren

They lock up and go to a stalemate.  Lane with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Lacey goes around the ropes and gets a near fall with a rollup.  They lock up and Lacey with a chop.  Lacey with more chops.  Lauren tries to get her to stop with the chops but Lacey with a wrist lock and springboard arm drag.   Lane misses a kick on the apron and Lauren trips her.  Brandi gets a near fall.  Lauren with kicks in the corner.  

Lauren with forearms and a back elbow.  Lauren with a reverse chin lock.  Brandi with a boot for a near fall.  Brandi kicks Lacey in the corner.  Lane with a back elbow and kick.  Lacey with kicks and a round kick.  Lacey with a springboard arm drag.  Lacey misses a baseball slide when Brandi moves.  Lacey with a cartwheel to avoid Brandi and kicks Brandi.  Lacey with a springboard drop kick for a near fall.  Brandi blocks a reverse spinning DDT.  Brandi misses a boot and Lacey with a kick for a near fall.  Brandi with a rake of the eyes.  Brandi comes off the turnbuckles with a swinging neck breaker for the three count.

Winner:  Brandi Lauren

Kona Reeves makes his way to the ring and Trevin Adams is shocked that he is here.

Kona takes the mic.  He asks if this is the way that you treat a superstar when he walks in here.  He says you should be on your feet with smiles on your faces.  He came to Evolve for competition.  He wanted to see the type of competition in Evolve, but all he saw was chickens in the parking lot.  Kona says he does not want to be in Ybor City.  None of you deserve the finest.  Kona says he is out of here.

Colby Corino comes to the ring and he wants the mic.

Kona wants to know who he is and Colby knocks the mic away.

Colby says it is his dream to get the spot that he has.  When you come into the Unwanted's house and disrespect the talent, he has a problem.  If you think you are the Finest, prove it right here, right now.  Unless you are chicken.

Kona asks Colby if he wants to be a dirt bag like everyone else, bring out a referee.

Match Number Three:  Kona Reeves versus Colby Corino

Corino with a series of roll ups for near falls including a back slide.  Reeves with a series of waist lock take downs.  Reeves with a full nelson and Corino uses the ropes to get a near fall.  Reeves with a kick and he tries for a biel but Corino counters into a near fall.  Corino with a back elbow and a back drop that sends Reeves to the floor.  Corino with a suicide dive onto Reeves.  Corino comes off the side bar and Reeves catches Corino and drops him on the apron.  Reeves sends Corino into the apron a few more times.  

They return to the ring and Reeves with punches and forearms.  Reeves with a punch and Irish whip but Reeves misses a splash and Corino with a roll up for a near fall.  Reeves with a boot to the head for a near fall.  Reeves with a waist lock take down.  Reeves with a suplex for a near fall.  Corino with chops but Reeves with a back breaker.  Reeves with a rear chin lock.  Corino sends Reeves into the ropes and Kona goes to the turnbuckles but Corino with a knee to the midsection as Reeves comes off.

Corino with forearms and a drop kick.  Corino is sent to the apron and he connects with an enzuigiri.  Corino with Meteora for a near fall.  Corino with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Corino blocks a kick and hits a leg sweep.  Reeves rolls to the floor.  Reeves kicks the ropes when Corino gets back into the ring and then connects with a knee and hammer lock DDT for the three count.

Winner:  Kona Reeves

Match Number Four:  Adrian Jaoude versus Anthony Henry

Henry goes for the legs but Adrian avoids him.  They go for a test of strength and Henry backs Adrian into the corner and gives a clean break.  Adrian with a take down.  Henry with an ankle lock.  Adrian with a cartwheel and a single leg take down.  Adrian with a fireman's carry.  Adrian with a take down as he holds on to the wrist lock.  Henry with a heel hook.  Henry with a kick and a knee.  Henry with a butterfly suplex for a near fall and Henry goes for a cross arm breaker but Adrian with a rollup for a near fall.  Henry with a guillotine.  Adrian runs Henry into the turnbuckles but Henry reapplies the guillotine.  Adrian gets out of the hold but Henry with another guillotine.  Adrian with a suplex to escape.

Henry with forearms but he misses a round kick.  Adrian with kicks and a boot to the head for a near fall.  Adrian with a punch to the midsection but Henry with a snap German suplex and a round kick for a near fall.  Henry goes up top and and misses a double stomp but rolls through.  Adrian tries for a cross arm breaker but Henry block sit.  Henry rakes the eyes and then knees Adrian in the back.  Henry and Adrian exchange punches.  They continue to exchange punches but the referee gets to the five count and calls for the bell.

Double Disqualification

After the match, Adrian gets away from security because this is wrestling.  He gets back into the ring and the officials holding Henry back split up so that means Henry and Adrian can get away.  

Adrian goes to the back but he gets away from security one more time.  

Match Number Five:  Shane Thorne versus Curt Stallion

They lock up and Thorne with a clean break.  Stallion with a front face lock.  Thorne with a wrist lock take down.  They have a test of strength and Stallion with a wrist lock.  Thorne with a wrist lock and Stallion with a take down and drop kick.  Stallion with a cross body for a near fall.  Thorne with a belly-to-back suplex.  Thorne sends Stallion into the post.  Thorne with a back drop driver onto the side bar.  Thorne gets a near fall and then works on the neck.  

Stallion with punches but Thorne with a European uppercut.  Thorne with a cannonball.  Thorne with a snap mare and kick to the back.  Thorne gets a near fall.  Thorne kicks Stallion in the head.  Stallion with a chop but Thorne with an uppercut.  Stallion with a German suplex.  Stallion with a running boot and drop kick into the corner.  Stallion with a suicide dive.  Thorne stops Stallion on the turnbuckles and sends him into the turnbuckles.  Thorne misses a cannonball and Stallion with a drop kick and DDT for a near fall. Stallion with an Air Raid Crash neck breaker for a near fall.

Thorne with a Saito Suplex.  Stallion gets knocked off the turnbuckles.  Stallion with an uppercut and a German superplex for a near fall.  They exchange forearms and chops.  Stallion with slaps and Thorne with a clothesline and sit out power bomb.  Stallion counters into an inside cradle.  Stallion with a head butt and Thorne with a crossface chicken wing and Stallion taps out.

Winner:  Shane Thorne

Match Number Six:  AR Fox versus Adrian Alanis versus Leon Ruff

Fox with a waist lock on Alanis and Ruff wants to do a double German suplex.  They go to a stalemate.  Fox discusses strategy with Alanis and then he decides to see if Ruff will work with him.  Ruff and Fox with a double super kick to Alanis.  Ruff and Fox with misdirection in the ring until Ruff with a rollup and kick.  Alanis tosses Ruff into the corner and chops him.  Alanis with a back breaker and chop.  Alanis gets a near fall.  Fox with a rollup on Alanis while Alanis pulls Ruff off the turnbuckles.  Fox with a matrix and Ruff with a back flip.  Fox with a twisting suplex.  Fox with a neck breaker to Ruff.  Fox gets a near fall on Ruff.  Ruff with a rollup on Fox for a near fall.

Fox with a back breaker and reverse DDT for a near fall.  Ruff with a German suplex.  Alanis with a spinning side slam to Fox and then he does the same to Ruff on top of Fox.  Alanis with a pop up power slam for a near fall.  Alanis tries for a suplex on Fox but Ruff blocks it and hits a blockbuster on Alanis and Alanis DDTs Fox.  Ruff with a leg lariat to Alanis in the corner and then Ruff holds on and hits a Codebreaker.  Fox trips Ruff and Fox with a coast to coast to Alanis on the flor.  Ruff with a swanton onto everyone on the floor.  Fox clotheslines Ruff over the top rope and Fox with an enzuigiri to Alanis.  Alanis back drops Fox onto Ruff on the floor.  

Alansi with a suicide dive onto Ruff and most of the Skulk.  Fox punches Alanis but Alanis pulls Fox down and Fox with a cutter that knocks Alanis off the apron.  Fox misses a splash and Ruff with a kick and back breaker.  Ruff with a leg sweep and he sends Fox to the apron and connects with a knee and swinging neck breaker but Alanis breaks up the cover.  Alanis chops Ruff into the turnbuckles and drop kicks Fox into the opposite turnbuckles.  Ruff with a kick and Alanis with an overhead belly-to-belly of Ruff into Fox.  Alanis with a Tiger Driver for a near fall.  

Alanis with an enzuigiri to Ruff but Fox kicks Alanis.  Fox goes to the apron and he punches Alanis.  Fox leaps over Alanis and avoids Ruff.  Fox with a double cutter off the turnbuckles.  Fox with a swanton onto both and he goes to the opposite corner for a 450 splash on Alanis but Alanis kicks out.  Fox with a kick to the head.  Alanis with a kick and Fox with an enzuigiri.  Fox with a Yakuza kick.  Ruff gives Fox a German suplex with Fox goes for Low Mein Pain.  Alanis with a missile drop kick to Fox and Ruff with a crucifix for the three count.

Winner:  Leon Ruff

It is time for Eric Bugenhagen to perform.

Eddie Kingston attacks Bugenhagen and Kingston asks if this is the crap he has to deal with.  Seventeen years of fighting and he has to deal with this PC crap.  This is why his wrestling is dead.

Angelo Dawkins attacks Kingston on the stage.

Match Number Seven:  Falls Count Anywhere Match: Angelo Dawkins versus Eddie Kingston

They fight towards the entrance and they make their way to the street.  They fight back into the building.  Dawkins goes for a gutwrench suplex but Kingston blocks it.  Kingston with a DDT when they get into the ring.  Kingston whips him with his jacket.  Kingston with a face wash.  Kingston with an Irish whip but he misses a splash.  Dawkins with a twisting splash into the corner followed by a fallaway slam.  Dawkins with a POUNCE.  They go to the stage.  Bugenhagen punches Kingston and Dawkins with a spear for the three count.

Winner:  Angelo Dawkins

Match Number Eight:  Evolve Championship Match: Austin Theory versus Raul Mendoza

Raul offers his hand and Theory pats him on the head.  They lock up and Theory with a clean break.  They lock up and Theory with a waist lock and Mendoza with a standing switch.  Mendoza with a cravate.  Theory with a side head lock take down.  Mendoza with a side head lock take down but Theory with a head scissors.  Mendoza with a headstand escape and he pats Theory on the head.  Theory with a side head lock.  Theory with a shoulder tackle and a near fall.  Mendoza with a side head lock.  Mendoza and Theory with leg sweeps and near falls followed by drop kicks.  Mendoza with a wrist lock.  

Theory with forearms.  Mendoza with a drop toe hold and La Magistral before rolling Theory around the ring for a near fall.  Mendoza with a chop.  Mendoza with a springboard move and Theory with a forearm.  Theory sends him to the floor and attacks Mendoza and sends him into the apron.  Theory gets a near fall.  Theory with a chop.  Theory with a hard Irish whip.  Theory with a clothesline and he goes to the apron and then suplexes Mendoza.  Theory with a boot for a near fall.  

Theory with a forearm to the kidneys.  Mendoza lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex.  Mendoza with an enzuigiri.  Mendoza with a back heel kick and clothesline.  Mendoza with a drop kick and clothesline.  Mendoza with a springboard drop kick.  Mendoza with a suicide dive.  Mendoza with a near fall.  Theory with a foreamr and he goes for the rolling neck breaker but Mendoza counters into a suplex for a near fall.  Mendoza goes up top and rolls through on a 450 splash.  Theory with a buckle bomb and a neck breaker for a near fall.  

Theory and Mendoza exchange forearms.  Theory with punches.  Mendoza with a forearm.  Theory with a forearms and Mendoza with a forearm.  Theory misses a charge into the corner.  Mendoza with an enzuigiri.  Mendoza with a springboard Frankensteiner for a near fall.  Mendoza with a rollup for a near fall.  Mendoza with a spinning cloverleaf and Theory struggles to get to the ropes but gets there.  Theory sends Mendoza into the ropes and then hits a super kick followed by Ataxia for the three count.

Winner:  Austin Theory (retains championship)

After the match, Theory gets on the mic.  He says that was the Austin Theory Evolve Championship Open Challenge.  Speaking of the Evolve Championship.  The night he won the title, it was a triple threat.  One of the people of the match was Roderick Strong.  He is in the Undisputed Era so that makes him 1-0 against the Undisputed Era.  Last week, he was the main event of Evovle against Kyle O'Reilly and that makes him 2-0.  There are two more members of the group.  Bobby Fish does not matter.  That makes Adam Cole.  The match won't be for the Evolve Title because in big matches, you choke.  If you get in the ring with Austin Theory, he will be 3-0 against the Undisputed Era.  That is going to be All Day.

Match Number Nine:  WWN Championship Match: JD Drake versus Shane Strickland

The referee has to hold Drake back when he gets into the ring.

Strickland tries to kick at the previously injured arm before they lock up.  They lock up and Shane with a wrist lock and Drake gets to the ropes.  Shane asks Drake about his shoulder.  They lock up and Shane with an arm bar.  Drake takes Shane to the mat and Shane with elbows and Drake with elbows of his own.  Shane slaps Drake and Shane gets to the floor before Drake can hit back.  Drake chases Shane around the ring.  Shane gets back into the ring and he kicks Drake and connects with forearms.  Shane wraps the arm in the ropes.  Drake with a chop to Shane.

Drake with a chop and he wraps the arm in the rope and chops Shane.  Drake with more chops and a slap.  Drake with forearms.  Shane pulls Drake's arm into the ring post.  Drake sends Shane against the ropes and Drake with a clothesline.  Drake chops Shane and head butts him.  Drake with a back senton for a near fall.  Drake with a European uppercut.  Drake with more chops.  Drake with a slam and splash.  

Shane sends Drake's shoudler into the post and then Shane with kicks from the apron.  Shane with kicks.  Shane gets a near fall.  Strickland with an arm bar.  Shane stretches Drake and rakes the eye.  Shane with a chop but Drake does not show the effect.  Shane with another chop and Drake gets to his feet.  Shane with another chops and Drake starts with the chops.  Shane blocks a cop and Strickland with an arm bar.  Shane applies pressure to the shoulder and Drake punches the knee to get Shane to release the hold.  Shane kicks Drake in the head.  Shane with a double sledge to the back and then he chops Drake.  Drake back drops Shane over the top rope to the floor.  Shane kicks Drake when he goes for a suicide dive.

Shane with a triangle and Drake gets a near fall and hits a power bomb for a near fall.  Drake picks up Shane on a sunset flip attempt but Shane counters into a cross arm breaker.  Drake gets a near fall.  Drake with a clothesline.  Both men struggle to get back to their feet.  Drake with a running chop into the corner.  Drake floats over and hits an overhead belly-to-belly throw.  Drake with a leg lariat off the turnbuckles.  Drake picks up Shane up by the nose and chops him.  Shane kicks the arm on a chop but Drake with a spinebuster for a near fall.

Drake goes up top but Shane hits Drake in the back to stop him.  Drake rakes the eyes and Drake misses the leg lariat.  Shane with a running knee into the corner.  Drake with a drop kick to the injured arm in the ropes.  Shane with divorce court for a near fall.  Shane with elbows.  Drake with a snap mare.  Shane with an uppercut.  Drake runs into a boot.  Shane leaps over Drake but Drake with a slam.  Shane slaps Drake.  Drake with a back fist.  Shane with a chop.  Drake with a chop.  They exchange chops and Shane with sole food.  Drake kicks Shane but Shane with a chop.  Drake with a back elbow and clothesline followed by a kick for a near fall.

Drake sets for Drillbit but Shane escapes and hits an enzuigiri.  Shane goes up top for the double stomp but Drake recovers and connects with an uppercut.  They both fight on the turnbuckles.  Drake tries to superplex Shane but Shane blocks it.  Shane gets Drake on his shoulders and hits a super Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Shane with a jumping back heel kick and Drake falls to the floor.  

Shane goes to the stage and he hits the double stomp.  Shane goes up top and hits the double stomp for a near fall.  Shane says something to Drake and he says this is his house.  Drake with a chop.  Shane with a knee to the head for a near fall.  Drake tries to fight off the cross arm breaker and Shane with kicks to the head.  Drake rolls over and stomps on Shane's head.  Drake with a clothesline.  Both men go for clotheslines.  Shane with a kick to the temples.  Shane with a rollup for a near fall.  Shane floats over Drake and hits a Tiger Feint kick.  Drake with a cutter and cannonball. 

Drake with Drillbit for the three count.

Winner:  JD Drake (retains Championship)

After the match, Eddie Kingston and Colby Corino attack JD Drake but Anthony Henry comes out with a chair to make the save.
