Do you think that Triple H's digs at AEW during his HOF speech were a little over the line? I get that he was trying to rib Billy Gunn, but the comments seemed rather unnecessary and a little classless, especially seeing how Cody Rhodes has publicly said that this weekend was for WWE in a show of respect.
No, I don’t have an issue with it. They are competition and it was done as a bust on his friend. Plus, Coke takes shots at Pepsi, and vice versa. Beyond that, it’s great that Cody said that they wouldn’t have any events and all but guess what? They haven’t had any events at all yet! Why would they have one on Mania weekend anyway? Let’s see what they do next year when they are up and running.
Do you think WWE will nix the new HOF stage setup in the future in light of the attack on Bret Hart? I gotta say that seeing that happen live and the feed cutting to black was absolutely terrifying.
I am not sure that they will do that but if they keep it for next year they clearly need to do something to upgrade security. As long as they can do that, I have no issue with them keeping the new set up. It was pretty cool and I like the in-ring aspect of it.
Who are likelier to make it into the HOF: Demolition, or the Steiner Brothers?
I would have to go with The Steiners. They never sued WWE.
Travis Browne. I have MUCH respect to give him. Per all the vids of the Hart Foundation induction attack on PWINSIDER he was like the first to hit the ring and you could see him beating that douchebag. For not being "one of the boys", do you think the WWE and its wrestlers feel he did the right thing?
Absolutely. They appreciate that he stepped up and stopped the clown. I do too.
Now that the women will be main-eventing Wrestlemania, do you think they should have a female referee for that match, or given the relative inexperience of the female referees available in WWE, would you be more in favor of a more experienced senior male referee? What about the idea of rounding out the female presence and bringing in Lilian Garcia to do the ring announcing, and a female guest commentator?
As I type this before the show on Sunday, I would love to see an all female cast in the main event. That’s the way it should be in my opinion.
