WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will appear on this Tuesday's edition of Smackdown Live, facing former TNA foe AJ Styles for the first time ever in a WWE ring. WWE is advertising the bout as Angle's final match on the Smackdown brand, where he was once General Manager. Styles and Angle had an extended feud during their time in TNA, including a Last Man Standing match at the Hard Justice 2008 PPV in Trenton, NJ that was one of the best matches in company history.
Angle is advertised to face Baron Corbin in his farewell match at Wrestlemania 35. That match received an almost universal negative reaction, but there is no indication at this point that WWE will be wavering from that direction.
