Former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts paid tribute to WWE's Sue Aitchison after she was named the 2019 WWE Warrior Award recipient for the WWE Hall of Fame, writing on social media, "Not all superheroes wear capes. Congratulations Sue Aitchison and thank for all you have done to help so many people over so many years."  In his autobiography, Roberts wrote quite a lot about Aitchinson and her work for the company alongside the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A Zack Sabre Jr. open challenge has been announced for the 2019 Mark Hitchcock Memorial Show at Wrestlecon:

Former WWE star Adam Rose announced that once he has completed his current independent wrestling obligations, he is retiring from the ring.  In an Instagram post today, Rose wrote, "I want to announce my full time retirement from the wonderful world of professional wrestling. It's been one hell of a ride. I will be fullfiling all dates currently booked but not taking any more bookings going forward. Thank you to the fans who supported me, the promoters who booked me, all the good brothers and sisters who worked with me. Mainly thank you to the @wwe for letting a 9 year old South African boy live his dream. Many blessings and so much love to all. Goodbye and thank you. #wwe #nxt #raw#smackdown #shootlife #prowrestling"
