Several readers sent word that Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has reported that WWE NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will be going in for surgery due to his neck injury. That report is correct, although the timetable as to when he will undergo surgery has not yet been confirmed.
As we reported last week, all options were on the table for Ciampa and the decision was made late last week. There is no word on how WWE will handle the WWE NXT Championship or the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic.
