LUKE HARPER UPDATE, SAMOA JOE TALKS JOURNEY IN THE BUSINESS, FORMER WWE STARS ON CBS LAST NIGHT, EVOLVE-RICOCHET AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2019-02-14 09:00:00

Luke Harper was back at the WWE Performance Center yesterday.

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi was on CBS talent competition show, The World’s Best last night.  Rodney Smith sent word that it appeared he was one of the 97 “judges from around the world”.

Natalie Eva Marie was back on CBS last night as well for the season finale of Celebrity Big Brother.  She was up for a $25,000 prize for viewer's favorite house guest on the reality series but in the end, comedian Tom Green won the vote.   Eva Marie did very well on the show before being voted off at the mid-way point.

Orange Cassidy is far and way the favorite to win the EVOLVE poll to see who Ricochet's opponent will be when he returns to EVOLVE.  A number of talents have been pushing for him to get the opportunity on social media.

The latest edition of The Rock's Titan Games (which is excellent) will air tonight on NBC.

Samoa Joe was interviewed by the Tacoma News Tribune to promote the forthcoming WWE event there at this link.  During the interview, Joe was asked about the journey he's been on over the course of his career with AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan, given that he's been wrestling them and around them for most of their respective careers and whether they have all taken note of the unique adventure they have been on, noting, "We all do, it’s something that we all  feel. I think for us, we get these questions all the time on did we ever think we’d make it into WWE and for all three of us we had been labeled as either too big or too small and they’d say, WWE would never hire you. We were told that from literally day one. I remember (Daniel Bryan) got signed early on and then he got released early on at they very, very start of his career.  I know that every time I’m in the locker room and I’m working for some company in Malaysia or Germany and Japan I kept seeing the same guys from America in the locker room. I would be Daniel, it would by A.J. (Styles). I think Bryan broke the mold for a lot of us guys who had been told they don’t fit the WWE model and I think it opened up the doors for a lot of guys to be successful in this company.”
