Today's Facebook "3.5 Degrees: the Power of Connection" podcast features WWE's Stephanie McMahon and entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk. The format sees the host interview both subjects separately giving their story and then bring them together to talk about the lessons they learned in the business world. The episode's title is "The Power of Family". Stephanie discusses on the podcast wanting to work for her father, challenges on joining the writing team, not meeting expectations and becoming Chief Brand Officer. Vaynerchuk discusses originally not wanting to get in the family business, butting heads with his father as co-CEO, using social media to expand the brand and launching a social media marketing company. When you hear the two together, they discuss their favorite wrestlers, Vince being comparable to Walt Disney and the WWE's use of branding compared to other sporting leagues. They discuss the hardship of being a family business and be able to do it effectively. The topic of paying your dues is discussed. Stephanie says she's been thinking about her daughters getting into the business and the one piece of advice she'd have is be humble and show humility. App.com has an interview with Paige discussing Fighting with My Family. Paige noted, "The first initial time I watched it I couldn’t (see it), because I was crying so much," she said. "I was just a big, emotional mess, honestly. It was just so surreal that I was watching a movie and it was all just so accurate. Like, 95 percent of the story was very accurate. Obviously, there were little twists for Hollywood, but it’s very true.”
