IMPACT WRESTLING TAPING PPV TONIGHT, FORMER PRODUCER HOSTING TN SERIES, TWITCH NUMBERS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson & Paul Jordan on 2019-01-26 09:38:00

Impact Wrestling will be taping their latest One Night Only PPV tonight in Hazleton, PA, headlined by Impact Wrestling Champion Johnny Impact vs. Eli Drake.    Moose, Eddie Edwards, Fallah Bahh, Rich Swann, Scarlett Bordeaux and more are also scheduled.

The debut of Impact Wrestling on Pursuit is now available on the GWN App.

Former Impact Wrestling producer Dave Sahadi will be hosting a series titled Bar Wisdom, showing the culture of that scene in the Chatanooga, TN area:

Paul Jordan reporting:

Once again using SocialBlade to check Impact Wrestling's stats on Twitch saw quite a rise in overall video views for yesterday coming in at about 30,000. That is up from the previous two Fridays (when the Twitch/Pursuit TV streaming idea began. The first Friday on January 11 saw about 20,000 video views that day, the second on the 18th saw about 15,000. Saturday is the second highest video view count each week coming in just below Friday. It's pretty clear that's due to the show concluding at midnight on the East Coast and the viewership being counted for the next day. All that said, the video viewership for the rest of the week stays steady at about 4000 viewers give or take each day.

The follower count saw a 1800+ rise in the last seven days. Not as strong as last week's 3,000 jump but nothing to sneeze at.  They are now at 70,894 on the platform.

Regarding overall video views on the channel, Impact are currently at 2,676,724  According to my research, they crossed the twi million mark on October 7, 2018, during the Motown Showdown Twitch special meaning they've gained 600,000 video views over the last six months.

Here is a breakdown of what each Twitch special has done in cumulative viewers on Impact's Twitch.TV channel:

*Barb Wire Massacre III (January 2018) 4100 views

*Brace for Impact (February 2018) 5600 views

*Last Chancery (March 2018)  6200 views

*Impact versus Lucha Underground (April 2018) 24,400 views

*Rise of the Knockouts (July 2018) 3,400 views

*The UnCivil War (August 2018) 4,800 views

*Impact at MediaCon September 2018) 13,000 views through four separate broadcasts

*Motown Showdown (October 2018)  4,600 views

*Ohio Versus Everything (December 2018) 5,000 views

There are specials that were not archived, which are not listed here obviously.

Abyss' Hall of Fame induction garnered 11,900 views which were split into two separate broadcasts.

Pretty much everything else on the channel which include talk shows, videogame streams, post shows, older PPVs and classic footage rarely get over 400 views.

The channel officially launched on the platform January of last year with the first Twitch special being  "Brace for Impact" February .9.
