Punishment Martinez defeated Brennan Williams in about 8 minutes.
Dominik Dijakovic pinned Kona Reeves in about 15 minutes.
Kairi Sane and Io Shirai won a fatal four-way elimination match last eliminating NXT Women's Champ Shayna Naszler and Marina Shafir. Aliyah and Vanessa Borne were eliminated first and Mia Yim and Xia Li were eliminated second. The match lasted about 23 minutes.
Adam Cole pinned Mansoor al-Shehail in about 12 minutes. Mansoor cut a promo spouting optimism for 2019, prompting Adam Cole to come out from the back.
NXT North American Champion Ricochet and Kacy Catanzaro defeated Shane Thorne & Rhea Ripley in a mixed tag match in about 17 minutes. The crowd was really into this match.
Jeet Rama pinned Riddick Moss in about 9 minutes.
NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish) defeated Raul Mendoza and Humberto Carrillo in about 16 minutes. There was a scary moment in this match where Roddy was dropped on his head but he seemed ok.
The University Area CDC Gymnasium in Tampa was just about full for the event. The crowd was pretty hot the entire night. Kairi Sane, Io Shirai and Brennan Williams signed autographs before the event. It was my first NXT show in 2 years and I highly recommend going to NXT if they come to your area.
