WWE CALL-UPS, LARS SULLIVAN, WWF SUPERSTARS COMING TO WWE NETWORK, KEVIN OWENS, BOOKER T AND MORE

By Mike Johnson & Paul Jordan on 2019-01-15 10:04:00

For those who have asked, we are told Lars Sullivan is still under contract to WWE.  There have been a lot of rumors about why he has not started on TV like the other announced NXT call-ups.  All we can confirm for sure is he was slated to be at the TV tapings in Florida and then did not work the tapings.  One version is that he was there and left.  Another is that he did not come to the tapings.  We can confirm he was not scheduled to be at TV this week.

It was noted last night that all the new WWE NXT call-ups to the main roster will be appearing on Raw and Smackdown.

There were no Smackdown talents at Raw last night, so they ended up with a day on the road as last night's live event was canceled.

Tonight's 205 Live broadcast is slated to be live on the WWE Network.

Kevin Owens has dropped a considerable amount of weight en route to his WWE TV return.

WWE was conducting interviews for their Nigel McGuinness documentary back in July 2018, so it had been planned for some time before debuting over the weekend.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T will have his first singles match in a number of years in the United States this Saturday for his promotion, Reality of Wrestling, facing Rex Andrews.  Booker last wrestled for WWE in 2012, competing in a tag bout.  He wrestled for his promotion in 2015, teaming with his brother, Stevie Ray, in a Harlem Heat reunion and defeated Lionheart in April 2016 in Great Britian for promotion PCW.    Booker's last singles bout in the United States was February 2012, losing a WWE Intercontinental title bout to then-Champion Cody Rhodes in Utah.  The event, titled The Last Stand, will air live on Fite.TV on 1/19, priced at $9.99.  The undercard features Mike Orlando vs. Ryan Davidson for the promotion's Texas Championship, Steen vs. Connor Hollomon, The Industry vs. Team Fly Def in a Tag Team Championship match, Will Allday vs. Legion, Jabob Fatu vs. Bryan Keith, Van Harrison's TV Title Open Challenge, Allie Reck vs. Hyan Olvera in a Women's Championship match and more.

WWE has announced NXT dates for 2/28 in Columbus, Ohio, 3/1 in Pittsburgh, 3/2 in Cleveland and 3/3 in Detroit.  Tickets will go on sale this Friday.
