I Am Vengeance, the feature film starring Stu Bennett aka former WWE star Bad News Barrett, was nominated for Best Feature Film in the 2019 National Film Awards in The UK.  The film will compete against Aquaman, 16/03, The Festival, Sunset Contract, Retreat and Gloves off for the award.

Promotional material for the film, which had a limited run in the United States, notes, "When ex-Special Forces soldier turned professional mercenary, John Gold (Stu Bennett), hears that his former best friend Corporal Dan Mason (Kevin Leslie), and Dan’s parents have been murdered, he heads to their home-town to find their killers. Gold discovers that Dan and his father were investigating a Special Forces troop led by the enigmatic, highly decorated Sergeant Hatcher (Gary Daniels), that went rogue in Afghanistan. What unfolds next is a heart-pumping action thrill ride that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats. "

PWInsider.com sat down to discuss the film with Bennett when it was released last year, discussing being the star of the film, what fans can expect from him in the film, stunt work and whether pro wrestling helps or hinders putting it together, deciding to leave WWE, the differences between the energy working a WWE TV taping and being on a film set, why he decided to do the World of Sport season for ITV, whether he's interested in working independent dates, thoughts on the changing landscape in wrestling, Beastmaster on Netflix, things he's learned and picked up since pushing himself out of his comfort zone while pursuing acting and more:
