WWE NXT UK EPISODE 17 REPORT: RIPLEY VERSUS DAWN, MOUSTACHE MOUNTAIN, AND MORE

Tonight, Isla Dawn will face Rhea Ripley for the NXT UK Women’s Championship.

We are in Plymouth, England and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Jordan Devlin versus Mike Hitchman

They lock up and Hitchman with an arm bar and chin lock. Hitchman gets a near fall. Hitchman with a wrist lock back drop to Devlin. They lock up and Hitchman with a clean break but Devlin with a forearm to the kidneys. Devlin with another forearm to the kidneys. Devlin with forearms to Hitchman and the referee warns Devlin when Hitchman gets into the ropes. Devlin with another forearm to the kidneys. Devlin with an elbow to the top of the head and a rear chin lock. Hitchman powers out of the hold and connects with forearms.

Devlin with a hard Irish whip. Hitchman does not react to what Devlin says and Devlin backs up. Devlin with a uranage and he misses the standing moonsault. Hitchman with a back senton. Hitchman with punches followed by a flying forearm. Hitchman with a uranage for a near fall. Hitchman with a running shoulder into the corner and then he sets for a package power bomb but Devlin escapes and hits a whirlwind kick for a near fall.

Devlin goes up top and misses a moonsault but he rolls through. Hitchman with a pop up power bomb and he misses a running back senton into the corner and Devlin picks up Hitchman and hits a Saito suplex. Devlin with Ireland’s Call for the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin

After the match, Jordan Devlin asks when are you going to learn what that little punk just learned and what the people in the locker room knows. When you bet on Jordan Devlin, it is not a gamble because the Ace trumps all.

Trent Seven and Tyler Bate commented earlier about the NXT UK Tag Titles and Gallus. They were asked about facing Saxon Huxley and Tyson T-Bone as well as Gallus. Trent says you have to deal with everyone accordingly. Tyler says they have some beef going on with Gallus, but when they get through Gallus, their focus is on the NXT UK Tag Titles.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews are asked about their match next week against Zack Gibson and James Drake. Flash says a victory can mean a lot because they are focused on the tag titles. Mark says they embody everything that NXT UK is. It is the most exciting brand in the WWE and they are the most exciting. There is no glass ceiling for them or the company. Flash says the sky is the limit.

Match Number Two: Fabian Aichner versus Eddie Ryan

Aichner offers his hand to Ryan and Ryan is not sure if it is legitimate and Aichner pulls his hand away. They lock up and Aichner backs Ryan into the corner and Aichner makes Ryan flinch. They lock up and Aichner with a side head lock. Aichner blocks a hip toss and Aichner misses a clothesline. Ryan with a drop kick and clothesline that sends Aichner over the top rope to the floor.

Ryan sets for a move to the floor but Aichner gets back into the ring and hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Aichner with forearms to the back. Ryan chops Aichner and Aichner with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Aichner with punches to the ribs to apply a seated abdominal stretch. Ryan with punches to the midsection and a Ryan lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Ryan with European uppercuts and an enzuigiri. Ryan with a running forearm into the corner and Ryan with a back elbow. Ryan goes to the turnbuckles and hits a corkscrew European uppercut off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Aichner holds on to the ropes to stop Ryan and he gets back to his feet. Ryan kicks Aichner and hits a forearm. Aichner with a kick and he drops Ryan on the top rope and Ryan falls to the floor. Aichner goes to the floor and he runs Ryan into the ring steps and hits a running knee to the head. Aichner returns to the ring and he hits the spinning sit out power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Fabian Aichner

We see Isla Dawn getting ready for her match against Rhea Ripley.

We go to commercial.

We are back with comments from Travis Banks for Joe Coffey. He says they should not have let him be able to come back. He took out Wolfgang and his eyes are solely set on you. You are worried about the UK Championship but you should be worried about him. Your oversight will be your downfall. Joe Coffey, you are the first on his list.

Match Number Three: Trent Seven and Tyler Bate versus Saxon Huxley and Tyson T-Bone

Tyson and Tyler start things off and Tyson with punches as Bate backs into the corner. The referee warns Tyson and Bate with punches but Tyson sends Bate into the turnbuckels and Huxley tags in and kicks Bate. Huxley with knees to the midsection. Huxley with a back breaker but Bate gets to his feet and he kicks Huxley in the corner. Bate with a knee lift and he goes to the turnbuckles with a corkscrew European uppercut.

Seven tags in and he punches Huxley after Huxley misses a splash. Seven with chops in the corner. Seven kicks Tyson off the apron and Huxley with a Thesz Press and Tyson tags in. Seven with chops. Trent with a kick and DDT. Tyson kicks Trent away and Trent with a punch to Huxley on the apron. Tyson punches Seven and he tags Huxley in. Huxley kicks Trent and tags Tyson back in. Tyson sends Huxley into the corner with a splash. Tyson with knees in the corner and he hits a running face wash. Tyson with a knee in the corner.

Tyson gets a near fall. Huxley tags in and Trent punches Huxley but Huxley punches back. Huxley with a cross body on Seven with Seven against the ropes and Huxley gets a near fall. Tyson tags in and Huxley slams Seven and Tyson follows with an elbow drop for a near fall. Tyson with a front face lock. Seven tries to get to his corner but Tyson with forearms to the back to knock Seven down and then he knocks Bate down on the apron. Seven with a dragon suplex and Huxley tags in and he stops Seven from making the tag. Seven with an enzuigiri and Bate tags in.

Bate with a running European uppercut and he punches Tyson and Huxley. Huxley with a boot to Tyson when Bate moves. Bate with running European uppercuts and then Bate catches Huxley on a splash attempt and hits an exploder. Bate with a standing shooting star press for a near fall but Tyson gives his partner an elbow drop by mistake. Bate with a punch to Tyson followed by a suicide dive onto Tyson. Bate sets for the Tyler Driver 97 but Huxley with a back body drop and Bate lands on his feet. Seven makes the tag. Bate with a rebound clothesline and dragon suplex combination for the three count.

Winners: Trent Seven and Tyler Bate

Dave Mastiff is in the back and he is asked about his victory over Eddie Dennis and what is next for him. Dave says last week’s match was brutal and he brings brutality to NXT UK. Dave says he wants the WWE UK Title, but . . .

Eddie Dennis attacks Mastiff and he asks Dave if he thinks this is over.

We go to commercial with Rhea Ripley walking in the back.

We are back with a video package for Pete Dunne.

We are told that Toni Storm will be back next week. Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster will face James Drake and Zack Gibson next week. Joe Coffey will face Travis Banks.

Match Number Four: Rhea Ripley versus Isla Dawn for the NXT UK Women’s Championship

They lock up and Ripley backs Dawn into the corner but Dawn reverses the situation. They continue and Dawn with a side head lock. Dawn trips Ripley and hits a double stomp for a near fall. Dawn with a side head lock. Ripley gets a near fall with a rollup but Dawn holds on to the side head lock. Ripley backs Dawn into the corner and Ripley with a shot to the midsection followed by a drop kick. Ripley with forearms to the back and kicks in the corner.

Ripley with a suplex for a near fall. Ripley with a boot to the head and then to the back. Ripley with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Dawn with elbows but Ripley with a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Ripley goes for a suplex and Dawn blocks it. Dawn misses a clothesline and Dawn tries for a victory roll but Ripley blocks it and applies the reverse Cloverleaf. Dawn reaches for the ropes and gets there.

Ripley with a kick after releasing the hold. Ripley misses a boot and misses a drop kick. Ripley misses a shoulder into the corner when Dawn moves and Ripley hits the turnbuckles. Dawn with forearms but she misses a round kick. Dawn with kicks and a knee. Dawn with a Saito suplex followed by a round kick. Dawn with a suplex but she can only get a near fall.

Dawn with a forearm to stop Ripley from blocking an Irish whip but Ripley with Riptide for the three count.

Winner: Rhea Ripley (retains championship)
