WWE announced during Monday Night Raw that former NXT Champion Sanmi Zayn would be returning soon.
Zayn was written out of WWE storylines in June after being wiped out by Bobby Lashley at the 2018 Money in the Bank PPV.match against Bobby Lashley. Shortly after, Zayn, who had been working hurt for some time, underwent a series of shoulder surgeries.
Zayn commented on his time off a few days ago via Twitter:
Double shoulder surgery isn't fun, but I see the whole experience as a gift.

Time off wrestling gave me perspective, about myself and the world around me.
Honest introspection/critical reflection is SO valuable, and it costs nothing.
To heal the world, we must heal ourselves.
