TK O’Ryan & Vinnie Marseglia vs. The Bouncers vs. Best Friends

This was a fun opener.  Lots of big dives, including Bruiser hitting a dive onto everyone. The Best Friends scored the pin on Bruiser with Beretta hitting a Kryptonite Krunch as Chuckie T hit a double stomp.

PRE-SHOW NOTES

We have confirmed that Ladder War will close the show.

ROH extended the time of the show to four hours in order to make sure that they had enough time for all of the matches and nothing was short-changed.

ROH FINAL BATTLE PPV

The PPV opened with a video pushing that two years ago, Cody debuted while a year ago, Dalton Castle was crowned champion as Jay Lethal began his ascension back to the title.  They pushed Cody vs. Lethal for the main event and that tonight, Dalton Castle was the one trying to make his way back to title contention.  They then began promoting the remainder of the main events.

Fans live in the Hammerstein chanted "Final Battle" when they went live.

Eli Ishom vs. Kenny King.

King took the mic and asked why Ishom was standing across the ring from him at Final Battle.  King said he was the last man alive to pin Jay Lethal and he said that it is he wasn’t wrestling Lethal, he didn’t need to be here.  He said that Ishom was a commercial for the ROH Dojo, but the new school sucked.  Ishom is getting a shine being in the ring with him but his shine is a candle next to the sun that is King.

King attacked Ishom and stomped him in the corner.  Ishon was sent to the floor, where King nailed a twisting dive to the floor.  King worked him over on the floor but missed a clothesline, hitting the ringpost with his wrist.  He worked over Ishom and tossed him back in the ring but missed a hip attack in the corner.

Ishom nailed some offensive maneuvers but King went to the floor.  He thought he was escaping but Ishom hit a flip dive to the floor.  Ishom locked on an armbar.  King took over and worked over Ishom’s arm.  He ripped at Ishom’s face.   Ishom tried to roll him up but King held onto the ropes and drilled him.  They battled back and forth with forearms.

Ishom grabbed a front facelock.   He nailed a belly to back Suplex and went to the top rope, only to be knocked off.  King nailed a Blockbuster for a two count.  They battled to the top where King nailed him with a leaping kick.  King went for a DVDR but Ishom caught him and small packaged him for a two count.   They went back and forth until King scored the pin with a sit-down driver off his shoulders.

Your winner, Kenny King!

ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb vs. Adam “Hangman” Page

Page attacked him at the bell and backed Cobb into the corner.  Cobb nailed him back.  Page kept attacking him and knocked him to the floor.  Page went for the shooting star shoulderblock off the apron, but Cobb caught him and nailed a belly to belly Suplex on the floor.

Back in the ring, Cobb controlled Page for several minutes until Page escaped a Suplex attempt and nailed a leg lariat.  He scored a two count with a Lionsault.  He worked over Cobb, who kept kicking out.  Page nailed a nice slingshot swanton splash.  They battled to the top, where Page was able to knock Cobb into the ring to avoid a back superplex attempt.

Cobb rebounded and drilled him across the back.  Cobb went for a superplex and held him for a long, delayed version before dropping him down into the ring.  The Hammerstein loved that live.  He covered Page, who immediately kicked up.  Cobb nailed a standing moonsault for another two count.  Page fired back, and the crowd had dueling chants for each competitor.

Page and Cobb battled again on the top rope, this time with Cobb sending him down to the mat.  Cobb nailed a flying bodypress but Page rolled through and powered up holding Cobb, which was damn impressive.  Page nailed a Samoan Drop.   He nailed a clothesline, sending Cobb over the ropes to the floor, then hit a tope clothesline to the floor.

Page went to the top and nailed a big moonsault to the floor on Cobb.  The crowd exploded and chanted, “Hangman!”  Hangman tossed him back into the ring and nailed a running shooting star press for a two count.  He repeated the feat but was again unsuccessful and scoring the pinfall.  The crowd chanted for Page as he railed away on Cobb with forearms.

Cobb and Page battled back and forth with forearms in the center of the ring.   Cobb finally scored with a hard slap.  Page went for a move but was caught and tombstoned for a close two count.  Page escaped a back Suplex and nailed a series of superkicks.  Page nailed the flip into the lariat for a BIG pop.  He went for the Alabama Slam, but Cobb escaped and maneuvered him into a spinning TKO for a close two count.

Cobb went for Tour of the Islands, but Page turned it into a crucifix for a CLOSE near fall.  Fans thought that was the finish and booed it, thinking the referee screwed up.  Page went for another flip into a lariat but was caught with Tour of the Islands and pinned.  Great match.

Your winner and still ROH TV Champion, Jeff Cobb!

Just an excellent match.  This was easily the best Cobb match to date.   Page really let it all hang out in what is likely his final ROH PPV appearance as well.

Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai vs. Madison Rayne vs. Karen Q vs. Kelly Klein.

Everyone battled at the onset, so it appears everyone is legal at the same time.  Sakai nailed some nice dropkicks and hit a backdrop on Q.  She nailed a great dropkick off the apron onto Klein.  Rayne and Sakai went back and forth in the ring.  They locked up.  Rayne brought her back into the corner, but Sakai gained control.  Rayne came back with a bodypress for a two count.

Sakai locked in a submission, but Q attacked her and locked in a Boston Club.  Q and Klein worked over Rayne in the corner.    They controlled the ring.  Sakai and Rayne battled back.  They went into a Tower f Doom spot.  Sakai scrambled to try and and get the pin but was unable to do so.

Klein and Q battled back and forth.  Klein used a backslide.  Q escaped but was slammed and pinned.

Karen Q has been eliminated.

Klein worked over Rayne, who escaped a DVDR.  Rayne nailed a tornado DDT off the ropes for a two count.  She was attacked by Sakai, who whipped her into the ropes.  Rayne ducked a clothesline and nailed a stunner for a two count.  She nailed a sit-down driver for a two count.  Rayne went for a kick but was caught and nailed with a neckbreaker.  Klein nailed Sakai and scored the pin on Rayne.

Madison Rayne has been eliminated.

Klein and Sakai battled back and forth.  Sakai nailed several forearms and took her down with a cross armbreaker.  Klein battled to make it to the ropes and finally did, breaking the submission attempt.    Klein went for a DDT, but Sakai caught her with a neckbreaker for a two count.  Klein caught her going for a rana and nailed the champ with a powerbomb for another two count.

They battled to the top.  Klein pulled Sakai on her shoulders and nailed a DVDR into the ring, scoring the pin.

Your winner and new WHO Champion, Kelly Klein!

Klein and Sakai hugged after the match.  Klein cried when she was presented the title.
