At this past Saturday's House of Hardcore event in Philadelphia, Tommy Dreamer thanked Ring of Honor and Joe Koff for gifting him a surprise for the event, which turned out to be Jay and Mark Briscoe. The Briscoes fought and defeated Teddy Hart and Rich Swann at the event. Since the Briscoes are under exclusive contract to ROH, they can only wrestle in the United States with ROH's blessing and the promotion went out of their way to help Dreamer after he had a number of cancellations due to injuries and other factors. PCO, who just signed here, pulled off HOH over the weekend of his own accord. It was not a ROH edict.
ROH will return to the same venue, the 2300 Arena this Saturday 12/16 to close out their year with a TV taping that will see new faces debuting and getting pushed at the same time that The Elite will close out their Ring of Honor run. It's going to be a pretty historic night on a lot of levels when it comes to bookending ROH's calendar year. Announced thus far for the TV taping:
*ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb vs. Luchasaurus in a Proving Ground Match.
*CMLL star Rush vs. TK O'Ryan.
*Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Tracy Williams.
*PJ Black vs. Juice Robinson.
*The Young Bucks, Cody and Adam Page make what appears to be their final appearance in ROH.
*Thunder Rosa and Holidead, Best Friends, Britt Baker and more scheduled to appear.
The following meet and greet information has also been announced for the Philly taping:
On Dec. 15, the night after the huge Final Battle pay-per-view, ROH will present Final Battle Fallout, an international TV taping, at the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. What better city for ROH to put an exclamation point on its biggest year ever than The City of Brotherly Love?
