WWE NXT UK EPISODE 14 REPORT: RHEA RIPLEY IN ACTION, BANKS VERSUS WOLFGANG, LIGERO, AND MORE

We are in Plymouth, United Kingdom and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Joseph Conners versus Dan Moloney

They lock up and Conners with a clean break. They lock up and Moloney with a take down but Conners with a wrist lock. Conners with a punch but Moloney with punches. Moloney with a back elbow and Irish whip followed by a back body drop. Moloney with a clean break but Conners grabs the ear and pulls at it. Conners with a double stomp when Moloney charges into the corner. Conners stretches Moloney in the turnbuckles and they go to the floor.

Conners with a forearm to the back and then he connects with forearms to the back of the neck. Conners with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Conners with a chin lock. Conners with an elbow to the neck and then he stretches Moloney. Moloney with a punch but Conners with a shoulder in the corner followed by elbows. Moloney with forearms and a spinebuster for a near fall. Conners with an Irish whip and sunset flip buckle bomb. Conners with Don’t Look Down for the three count.

Winner: Joseph Conners

Isla Dawn is in the back and she is asked about getting to the top of the women’s division. Isla says who she is comes from a place of honesty, truth, and spirit. That is the qualities that she needs for her journey to the NXT UK Women’s Championship.

Rhea Ripley appears and says she asked for suitable competition. Rhea says she found an opponent and she tells Isla to watch very closely.

We go to commercial.

We see Trent Seven and Tyler Bate arriving at the building and they are met by Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang. Officals get between the two groups and Johnny Saint shows up.

Johnny tells the Coffeys and Wolfgang to leave.

Match Number Two: Dave Mastiff versus Mike Hitchman

They lock up and go to a stalemate. Hitchman with punches but Mastiff with a body block. Mastiff with elbows to the temple. Mastiff with a waist lock but Hitchman escapes. Mastiff goes into the turnbuckles when Hitchman trips him. Hitchman with a cannonball to the back. Hitchman with punches. Hitchman with an arm bar.

Hitchman with a fish hook and arm bar. Hitchman with a clothesline to the back of the head. Mastiff with forearms. Mastiff with European uppercuts and a head butt to send Hitchman to the mat. Mastiff with a back senton. Hitchman gets back to his feet and both men with shoulder tackles and they do not move. Hitchman with a flying shoulder into the corner. Hitchman with a cannonball but Mastiff gets his feet up. Mastiff with a running drop kick and cannonball for the three count.

Winner: Dave Mastiff

We take a look back at the history of Travis Banks and his recent injury.

Dave Mastiff is asked about his victory. He says he does not want anyone to underestimate Mike Hitchman. Dave says he is going to the top.

We see Eddie Dennis behind Mastiff as he walks away.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Ligero versus Tyson T-Bone

Ligero with a kick to the leg and he gets out of the corner. Tyson sends Ligero into the corner but Ligero escapes. Ligero with a waist lock but Tyson escapes and applies a wrist lock. Ligero with a back heel kick and side head lock. Ligero goes between the legs and then goes to the apron and hits an enzuigiri. Tyson with a punch to send Ligero to the floor.

Tyson with a forearm to the back and then he punches Ligero against the ring steps. Tyson with a boot to the head. They return to the ring and Ligero with a back elbow. Tyson with a fallaway slam on Ligero. Tyson gets a near fall. Tyson with a reverse chin lock. Ligero with a kick to the leg but Tyson with a punch and he misses a splash into the corner. Ligero with a kick and he flips over Tyson and hits an enzuigiri. Ligero with a drop kick.

Ligero with a running forearm into the corner and then he goes for a springboard Sliced Bread #2 but he can only get a near fall. Ligero goes up top but Tyson moves and Ligero rolls through. Tyson with an exploder and a running face wash. Tyson with a running hip into the corner. Tyson gets a near fall. Tyson misses a punch and Ligero avoids a shoulder into the corner and Tyson hits the ring post and goes to the floor. Ligero with a cannonball off the apron. They return to the ring and Ligero with a springboard splash for the three count.

Winner: Ligero

We have a video package for Rhea Ripley.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring.

Rhea says she is all about opportunities. She took her opportunity and became the first ever NXT UK Women’s Champion. Now, she has hand picked someone to have the opportunity of a life time.

Match Number Four: Rhea Ripley versus Candy Floss in a Non Title match

They shake hands and they lock up. Ripley with a clean break. They lockup and Ripley with a wrist lock and she takes Candy to the mat. Rhea works on the hand and Candy with a reversal. Candy with a drop kick.

Rhea with a kick and drop kick for a near fall. Rhea with a reverse chin lock. Candy with elbows but Rhea with a knee to the midsection. Rhea sends Candy into the turnbuckles and connects with a series of shoulders. Rhea with Riptide for the three count.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

After the match Rhea picks Candy up and raises her hand and then Rhea with a forearm to the back of the head. Rhea with forearms to Candy. Rhea sends Candy to the floor.

We take a look at an incident earlier today when Flash Morgan Webster was visited by Fabian Aichner during a press event. Flash says he did not appreciate the liberties Fabian took against Mark Andrews last week. Fabian tells Flash if he does not like it, do something about it in the ring.

The match will happen next week.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sid Scala says Joe Coffey will face Trent Seven next week. Sid says that they will have announcements about the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

Match Number Four: Wolfgang (with Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey) versus Travis Banks

Wolfgang mocks Banks’ shoulder ijury. Banks with punches and kicks to Wolfgang. Wolfgang with a boot to the chest and then he sends Banks shoulder first into the ring post. Banks goes to the floor. Wolfgang uses a distraction by the Coffeys to send Banks into the ring steps. They return to the ring and Wolfgang gets a near fall.

Wolfgang works on the injured shoulder. Wolfgang with a forearm and Banks with punches and kicks. Wolfgang blocks a kick and Wolfgang with a forearm. Banks drop kicks Wolfgang into the turnbuckles and Wolfgang goes to the floor.

Banks with a flying boot off the apron onto Wolfgang. Banks with a double stomp to Wolfgang for a near fall. Mark gets on the apron to distract Banks. Wolfgang with a shoulder and he gets a near fall. Wolfgang sends Banks into the turnbuckles and Banks with a kick. The Coffeys get on the apron and Tyler Bate and Trent Seven come out and Banks with a suicide dive onto Mark and Joe. Wolfgang goes for a suplex but Trent trips Wolfgang and Banks gets the three count.

Winner: Travis Banks
