Braun Strowman underwent elbow surgery yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama. He posted the following on Twitter:

There is no word yet how long Strowman will be out of the ring. The hope going in was that it would be a minimum amount of time but that wasn't going to be confirmed until after the surgery had taken place.
Strowman's currently storyline, leading to a 12/16 match against Baron Corbin at the WWE TLC PPV in San Jose, CA is that Corbin, the acting General Manager of Raw, has enforced that the match will take place no matter what with the idea that should Strowman not be able to compete, Corbin would win via forfeit and effectively guarantee he is the new permanent Raw GM.
Should Strowman win the bout, he is guaranteed a WWE Universal title match against Brock Lesnar at the 2019 Royal Rumble PPV in Phoenix, Arizona.
