WWE 205 LIVE REPORT: MURPHY VERSUS ANDREWS, LIO RUSH, AND MORE

Drake Maverick congratulates Mustafa Ali for earning a title match by defeating Tony Nese last week.  The match will take place at Survivor Series.   Kalisto and Lince Dorado will face TJP and Mike Kanellis.  Mark Andrews will make an appearance on 205 Live and he will face Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy in a non-title match.

We are in Manchester, United Kingdom and your announcers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.

Kalisto says they get to break two pinatas for the price of one.  Lince tells Kalisto to be careful what he says around Penelope.  You might like to play games but they like to play games.  They call Mike a coward for hiding behind his wife Maria.

Match Number One:  Lince Dorado and Kalisto versus TJP and Mike Kanellis (with Maria Kanellis)

TJP and Kalisto start things off.  They lock up and Kalisto backs TJP into the turnbuckles and gives a clean break.  TJP goes for the mask and Kalisto with kicks.  Kalisto rides TJP and whips him into the home stretch.  Kalisto with an arm drag and drop kick.  Dorado tags in and Kalisto hits a splash off Dorado's shoulders and Dorado with a splash.  TJP tags Kanellis into the match.  Kalisto and Dorado with a double discus punch followed by a double clothesline and they tease a double dive to the floor.  Kanellis with punches and kicks to Dorado.  Dorado with punches.  Kanellis with an Irish whip and Dorado floats over and hits a head scissors take down.

Dorado with a drop kick and arm drag into an arm bar.  Kanellis distracts the referee and TJP with a clothesline.  TJP tags in and he punches Dorado.  TJP with a slingshot senton for a near fall.  TJP with a single leg take down and Kanellis tags in and hits an elbow drop for a near fall.  Kanellis with kicks and he sends Dorado into the turnbuckles.  Kanellis with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner.  Kanellis with another Irish whip and clothesline into the corner.  Kanellis gets a near fall.  TJP tags in and he kicks Dorado.  TJP with a snap mare and reverse chin lock.  Dorado with punches but TJP sends Lince into the turnbuckles.  TJP misses a knee in the corner and goes to the floor.  Kanellis misses a clothesline and Dorado with a springboard drop kick.

Kalisto tags in and hits a springboard clothesline and a springboard corkscrew splash.  Kalisto wtih a kick and TJP with an Irish whip.  Kanellis makes the tag but Kalisto does not see it.  Kalisto with a Listo Kick and Kanellis takes Kalisto to the floor and hits a side Russian leg sweep into the ringside barrier.  Kanellis gets a near fall.  Kanellis with a waist lock on Kalisto.  Kanellis with a forearm to the back.  Kalisto turns a belly-to-back suplex attempt into a DDT and both men are down.  TJP and Dorado tag in and Dorado with a cross body and clothesline.

Dorado with a chop to TJP and follows with a kick to the head.  Dorado with a flapjack to Kanellis.  TJP is sent into the turnbuckles and Dorado with a thrust kick and moonsault from all three turnbuckles for a near fall that is broken up by Kanellis.  Dorado with a double handspring cutter.  Dorado and Kalisto go to the turnbuckles for moonsaults onto TJP and Kanellis.  Dorado with a bronco buster but TJP with a knee bar on Dorado.  Kalisto breaks up the submission.  Kalisto sends Kanellis over the top rope to the floor.  Kalisto with a suicide dive to Kanellis.  Dorado with a rollup but TJP goes for the mask and pulls it off.  Dorado is waring a second mask and he hits a rana and gets the three count.

Winners:  Lince Dorado and Kalisto

After the match, Maria stops TJP and Mike from doing anything to Dorado or Kalisto.

We go to former Champion Cedric Alexander.  We see him at the Performance Center and Lio Rush shows up.  Lio says Cedric has lost all confidence and he is training with the rookies.  Cedric says that if Lio is not going to just carry Bobby Lashley's bags and compete, maybe he will learn.  Lio says that Cedric needs a marquee match against the 23 year old piece of gold.  Lio says he is not a hard man to find.

Next week, Cedric Alexander will face Lio Rush.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  Lio Rush versus Josh Morrell

They lock up and Lio with a wrist lock and Morrell with a reversal and arm wringer.  Rush has a kick blocked and he blocks a kick and Morrell with an enzuigiri.  Morrell goes to the turnbuckles and Rush with an enzuigiri to send Morrell to the floor.  Rush runs Morrell into the ringside barrier and then he kicks Morrell in the corner.  Rush with a cannonball.  Rush goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Lio Rush

After the match, Lio says he wants to dedicate his victory to a man who has motivated him.  Cedric is in a bit of a slump and Cedric went back to the Performance Center to go back to his roots.   Lio says he respects Cedric.  Lio says he knows that hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard.  Cedric has been working pretty hard.  Lio says there is nobody that works harder than Lio Rush.  If Cedric thinks he can get back on his high horse at Lio's expense, Cedric is sorely mistakent.  Next week, the Age of Alexander meets its final hour.  Tick tock.

We take a look at Mark Andrews.

We are back with comments from Mustafa Ali.  He says first they called him maybe.  Today, they call him the heart of 205 Live.  At Wrestlemania, they had the chance to call him champ but he let that slip through his fingers.  He has been waiting for another chance to be called champion and he has that chance.  They are on a collision course and nothing is slipping through his hands.  No one will be calling him a maybe because they are going to call him champion.

Next week, Akira Tozawa and Brian Kendrick will face Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak.

Buddy Murphy says the Juggernaut versus the Heart of 205 Live.  The way that Ali has scratched and clawed to get back to the top is a fairy tale, but there is no happy ending.  He will show why he is the best and he will use Mark Andrews as a stepping stone to prove that you cannot stop the unstoppable.

Match Number Three:  Mark Andrews versus Buddy Murphy in a Non Title Match

Murphy backs Andrews into the corner and go to a Greco Roman knuckle lock.  Murphy with a wrist lock take down.  Andrews tries for a reversal but Murphy keeps Andrews on the mat.  Murphy keeps Andrews on the mat.  Andrews with a reversal.  Murphy with a snap mare but Andrews lands on his feet.  Andrews with a leg sweep and he tries for a shooting star press but lands on his feet.  Murphy sends Andrews into the turnbuckles but Andrews with a chop. 

Murphy blocks a hip toss and hits a shoulder tackle that sends Andrews to the floor.  Murphy blocks a head scissors take down but Andrews with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Andrews with a kick and Murphy goes to the floor.  Andrews with a flip dive into a rana on the floor.  Andrews sends Murphy into the ring and Andrews goes up top.  He leaps over Murphy but Murphy with a lawn dart into the middle turnbuckle.  Murphy with a biel to Andrews.  Murphy with a forearm to the lower back.  Murphy with another biel across the ring.  Murphy gets a near fall.

Murphy with an arm bar and chin lock.  Murphy with an elbow across the chest.  Murphy gets a near fall.  Murphy returns to the arm bar and chin lock.  Andrews with a jaw breaker.  Andrews with a reverse rana and Murphy goes to the floor.  Andrews with a suicide dive that sends Murphy over the announce table.  Andrews dives across the announce table and punches Murphy.  Murphy sends Andrews back into the ring and Andrews with a baseball slide.  Andrews with a forearm and then he comes off the steps and hits a cannonball.  Andrews sends Murphy back into the ring and Murphy catches Andrews.  Andrews escapes Murphy's Law and hits a corkscrew moonsault for a near fall.  

Andrews with an enzuigiri and he goes for Code Red but cannot fully hit it and he gets a near fall.  Andrews with a forearm but Murphy with a series of kicks and he kicks Andrews into the corner.  Andrews with a kick and a thrust kick from the turnbuckles.  Murphy blocks a tornado DDT and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Murphy goes for a suplex but Andrews with Stundog Millionaire.  Andrews goes up top for the shooting star press but Murphy gets his knees up.  Murphy with a running knee and Murphy's Law for the three count.

Winner:  Buddy Murphy
