Why is Ed Nordholm remaining status quo with Don Callis?  Impact Wrestling is now drawing 100K viewership.  Clearly, folks are not liking Callis' version of Impact Wrestling and they just lost their primetime slot. What is Nordholm waiting for? Until viewership fall to 9 peoplem? Is it time to fire Don Callis?

One, it's not just Don Callis.  There is an entire management team, including Nordham in charge.  I don't think you can blame Callis for the audience dropping.  The show was moved to a new timeslot, which traditionally means a dropoff.  If the numbers are still down in six weeks, it's an issue to discuss, but the reality is Pop is a network that has very little branding in the public eye.  Impact needs a TV partner that is going to invest in them and be with them for the long haul to try and grow the bubble.  They don't have that.  It wouldn't matter if they hired HHH to be in charge under their current circumstances.

Was Austin Aries and Johnny Impact confrontation at the Abyss Hall Of Fame induction real? They really did a great job making it look real.

A very well done angle.

I agree with the women who are upset they are in the battle royal, but do you think it was wise for them to publicly state their feelings?

Why not?   They have every right to state their case if that's how they feel - as long as they are willing to deal with the repercussions.

WWE has teased the idea of a new ECW for the WWE Network's tiered system, but if they do that, who the heck is left for the promotion?

If WWE is smart, they don't use the ECW name at all.  That said, if they actually launched a new ECW, they don't have a lot of the older names who can go, since it is 17 years later!  I'd rather see them build an entire new roster of names and do something unique.  Using the nostalgia to relaunch an ECW 5 years after the original shut down is one thing.  Doing it well over a decade later is a destined to go off the cliff.  I really doubt they'll use the name again.  The entire idea of using it to begin with made sense when there was a lack of closure among ECW fans who missed the product.  Since then, they got their closure in 2005, got a relaunch that didn't click in 2006, and a lot of other promotions playing off the old intellectual property that didn't work out so well.  It was a case of be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it.  Lots of fans missed their ECW.  That ECW hasn't been seen since 2005 when Hardcore Homecoming and ECW One Night Stand were promoted.

I see in old WWWF results, there was a Batman who wrestled for the company and even teamed with Bruno Sammartino.  Who was this and did WWWF have to pay DC Comics?

The Batman was Tony Marino.  While it was playing off the DC character, there was no deal between WWWF and DC, it was just one of those things that slipped under the radar during that time period because it was a gimmick that was relegated to live events and wasn't really pushed in a major way on TV.  The character was used a lot in Pittsburgh as a babyface act in the late 1960s, playing off the popularity of the Adam West TV series.
