TWO NEW MLW SIGNINGS CONFIRMED, HATHAWAY IS BACK, MLW TV PREVIEWS, INTERNATIONAL PUSH AND MORE MLW NEWS AND NOTES

Major League Wrestling has signed PCO aka former WWE star Pierre Carl Oulette, who now does a Frankenstein’s Monster style unstoppable beast gimmick, to a deal, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

The company has also signed Paul Roma trainee Richard Holliday, who wrestled Joey Ryan at the Fury Road event in NYC.  Holliday is a former ECWA Super 8 tournament winner.  The company sees a lot of upside in him and sources have compared him to MJF in a positive sense in that there’s a lot of long-term potential.

Several MLW executives, including Court Bauer, are slated to travel to Monaco next week for SPORTEL, an international media convention as the company intends to make a big push for international clearances.

Konnan has been training to prepare for a limited retirement tour.  I'd expect he makes at least one in-ring appearance here.

Hip hop producer and President of Maybach Music Group Latino SPIFF TV is working on a project with MLW. We are working to confirm additional details.  SPIFF TV has done some entrance music for the company in the past, including Pentagon Jr.’s theme.

Stokely Hathaway announced he will be working the 11/8 MLW Chicago event as part of his return to the company.  EVOLVE announced he is done with them.  Hathaway released the following video as part of his MLW return:

All plans to return to Fort Lauderdale are on hold as the promotion has found a Miami venue to run and that is closer to BeIn Sports’ headquarters.  If the Miami double-shot in December does well, they will focus on that market being their Florida base.  CMLL star Rush will be working the taping.  Tickets for the Miami debut on 12/13 and 12/14 officially go on sale tomorrow at http://www.mlwtickets.com

It’s most likely that the Super Fight event on 2/2/19 will be in the Northeast.  NYC is not in the running for the event.

The 11/8 Chicago debut at Cicero Stadium will feature MLW Tag Team Champions Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix vs. LA Park & Hijo de LA Park with Salina de la Renta, MLW Champion Low Ki vs. Shane Strickland, Rush vs. Sammy Guevara, Brody King vs. PCO in a No Disqualification, The Dirty Blondes vs. Joey Ryan and Swoggle, who will be tagging regularly here under the name “Size Matters” plus the debut of Ace Romero, who has worked for House of Hardcore and CZW in the past.  Puma King is also confirmed for the date.

This Friday’s MLW: FUSION TV will feature Tom Lawlor vs. Shane Strickland (which was an excellent match), Hijo de L.A. Park vs. the returning Sammy Guevara, the Smash ‘n Dash Connection (Barrington Hughes and Kotto Brazil) vs. the Samoan Island Tribe plus MJF, Aria Black, Salina de la Renta and more appearing.

The 10/26 MLW Halloween special on BeIN Sports, Fright Night, will feature special Halloween graphics and accoutrements.  The special will feature LA Park vs. PCO and Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal with Jimmy Havoc vs. Sami Callihan.
