JEFF JARRETT TALKS RETURN TO THE ASYLUM, ECW ORIGINAL GETS MARRIED, ZEUS RETURNS TO PRO WRESTLING, JERRY LYNN AND MORE NEWS

The Tennessean featured a piece on the NWA 70th Anniversary event this Sunday with a look back at the history of the NWA and wrestling in the area, featuring a number of quotes from Jeff Jarrett, who is the local promoter for the event.  You can read the piece by clicking here.   "When we looked at the 70th anniversary show, it was going to be a celebration," Jarrett said. "It was pretty simple. We both arrived at the fact that the most recent home for (the NWA) was the Asylum in the early 2000s. Then you jump back into the late 70s and through the 80s, Nashville was definitely a stop on that tour.  So it made a lot of sense to hold the show in that arena."   It's a really good piece.  PWInsider.com will have live, ongoing coverage of the NWA Anniversary show this Sunday evening.

Actory Tiny Lister Jr. aka Zeus will be making a rare pro-wrestling related appearance at the 11/9 WrestlePro event in Rahway, NJ, signing prior to the show.  We have heard he actually pitched wrestling, but I don't believe that is in the cards.  The WrestlePro event will feature LAX vs. Team Espana, Matt Macintosh vs. Super Crazy, Bobby Wayward vs. Anthony Bowens vs. Brian Pillman Jr, Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Kris Stadtlander plus Zeus, Tyson Kidd, Norman Smiley, The Nasty Boys, Duke Droese, Tammy Sytch and Barry Horowitz all appearing for a meet and greet before the show.  For more, visit www.WrestleProOnline.com.

Big congratulations to ECW Original Chilly Willy, who was married today in The Philippines, where he now resides.

Former ECW World Champion Jerry Lynn is now on Twitter.  You can follow him by clicking here.  Lynn and Mikey Whipwreck are teaming up for a new podcast.

Add Scott Hall to the list of talents appearing at the 11/9 Northeast Wrestling event in Poughkeepsie, NY headlined by Kenny Omega vs. Rey Fenix.

This Saturday's edition of Ring Warriors TV will be headlined by Impact Wrestling Champion Austin Aries vs. Luke Hawx.
