WWE NXT UK REPORT: DAR CHALLENGES DUNNE, TONI STORM, MASTIFF & MORE IN SERIES DEBUT

We start off with a video package featuring WWE’s links to the United Kingdom.

We are in Cambridge, England and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Mark Andrews versus Joe Coffey (with Mark Coffey)

Andrews with a waist lock and Coffey with a standing switch and take down. Coffey with an arm bar and wrist lock. Andrews tries for a reversal but Coffey maintains control. Coffey with a leg trip and he gets a near fall. Coffey gets a few more near falls as Andrews bridges. Andrews with an arm drag out of a wheelbarrow. Andrews has an arm drag blocked but Andrews with a head scissors. Andrews is sent to the apron and he hits an enzuigiri.

Andrews with a springboard head scissors take down. Andrews with a kick to the leg. Coffey blocks an Irish whip and connects with a forearm and chop. Coffey with European uppercuts and he misses a discus clothesline but Coffey with a POUNCE. Coffey with punches and he sets for a butterfly giant swing and then hits a butterfly suplex for a near fall. Coffey with a Japanese stranglehold and a knee to the back.

Andrews with an arm drag but Coffey with an elbow and he sends Andrews to the floor. Mark waits to attack Andrews but the referee sees what Mark is about to do. Joe with a Northern Lariat. Joe sends Andrews into the ring and Andrews blocks a discus clothesline. Andrews with strikes. Andrews with a thrust kick and knee. Andrews slides under a clothesline and hits an enzuigiri. Andrews with a double knee strike into the corner followed by a victory bomb and double stomp followed by a corkscrew moonsault for a near fall.

Coffey sends Andrews into the corner and Andrews with an enzuigiri. Coffey with a pop up European uppercut and then he hits a running head butt that sends Andrews into the corner. Coffey with a pop up power slam for a near fall. Andrews counters a suplex with stundog millionaire. Andrews goes up top and Mark pulls Coffey to the floor. Andrews with a moonsault onto both Coffeys.

Andrews sends Coffey back into the ring and Mark distracts Andrews and Coffey with an overhead belly-to-belly superplex. Coffey with a discus clothesline for the three count.

Winner: Joe Coffey

After the match, Mark and Joe attack Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster comes to the aid of Andrews and forces the Coffeys from the ring.

We see Trent Seven and Tyler Bate arriving at the building earlier today.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a feature on Eddie Dennis. He says he has been wrestling for more than a decade. He has been close friends with Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne. When they started, it wasn’t about wrestling in front of thousands of people and making millions of pounds. It was about making stories and he has stories.

Trent Seven and Tyler Bate make their way to the ring.

Trent thanks everyone for the reception. Trent says that today is a very special day. Today is the biggest day in British Professional Wrestling History. Trent says it is not just about him and Tyler. It is not about everyone in the back. It is about all of you and the debut of NXT UK.

Trent says they stood in the center of the ring in a sold out Royal Albert Hall and won the NXT Tag Titles.

Tyler says although they are no longer the NXT Tag Team Champions, Triple H did mention NXT UK Tag Titles. Tyler says that there aren’t really any tag teams in the company. Trent points out that Tyler was the youngest NXT UK Champion. Tyler says that he knows that there is a lot of talent itching for an opportunity.

Trent says that they should be buddying up to become teams because they want to face the best. Trent says the whole of the United Kingdom comes together because this is their brand and their NXT UK.

We see Pete Dunne in the back getting ready for his match.

We have a feature on Dave Mastiff. He says he is the best heavyweight. He will show the world what he is made of.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we take a look at footage from Royal Albert Hall when Noam Dar returned from his injury.

We see Dar stretching in the back.

Match Number Two: Sid Scala versus Dave Mastiff

Scala gets too close to Mastiff and Mastiff grabs his hand. Scala with a punch that does nothing and Mastiff with a forearm and a delayed vertical suplex throw. Mastiff with a double hand chop to Scala and then Mastiff biels Scala across the ring and then he connects with elbows to the head. Scala with a forearm and Mastiff smiles.

Mastiff with a drop kick followed by a German suplex. Mastiff with a cannonball into the corner for the three count.

Winner: Dave Mastiff

We go to commercial.

We are back and Nina Samuels is asked about her match against Toni Storm. She says she is elated that she is making her debut on NXT UK. She will be the first NXT UK Women’s Champion and what better way to make a statement than defeat Toni Storm.

Match Number Three: Nina Samuels versus Toni Storm

They lock up and Storm with a side head lock take down. Samuels with a reversal. Samuels pulls the hair to maintain the side head lock. Samuels with a wrist lock but Storm with an escape. Samuels slaps Storm and Storm with slaps of her own followed by a back heel kick and a running boot. Storm hits the turnbuckles when Samuels hits a drop kick to the knees and Samuels gets a near fall. Samuels with a kick to the head and she stretches Storm in the ropes.

Samuels with a drop kick to the back while Storm is in the ropes and Samuels gets a near fall. Storm with an arm bar and chin lock. Samuels sends Storm to the mat using the hair and Samuels gets a near fall. Storm with forearms but Samuels with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Samuels sends Storm into the turnbuckles and Irish whips Storm but Storm floats over and hits a German suplex. Storm with a running double knee strike into the corner followed by an Air Raid Crash neck breaker for the three count.

Winner: Toni Storm

We go to commercial.

We are back and next week, Tyler Bate faces Wolfgang.

WWE NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint is in the ring for the main event.

Match Number Four: Noam Dar versus Pete Dunne for the WWE NXT UK Championship

They lock up and Dunne backs Dar into the ropes. Dunne with a clean break and he mocks Dar. Dar offers his hand and Dar pulls it away. Dar trips Dunne and then he spins Dunne around before getting a near fall with a back slide. Dar with a side head lock but Dunne with a clothesline. Dunne sets for a surfboard and he starts to work on the arm and then he stomps on the knees. Dar with an Irish whip and Dar stops Dunne from flipping over with a clothesline to the back of the leg.

Dar pulls Dunne over the apron and connects with a punch and then he kicks Dunne and Dunne falls to the floor. They return to the ring and Dar with a kick to the arm. Dunne tries to keep Dar from working on the arm by kicking at Dar. Dunne with an X Plex and both men are down. Dunne with punches to Dar as he backs Dar into the corner. The referee warns Dunne. Dar with an Irish whip and Dunne flips over and hits an enzuigiri. Dunne with a waist lock and Dar with a standing switch. Dunne lands on his feet on a German suplex and Dunne with a kick followed by a power bomb for a near fall. Dunne goes to the turnbuckles and Dar stops him but Dunne has Dar’s nose. Dar kicks Dunne in the leg and Dunne falls to the mat. Dar with head butts to the chest and he hits a running back elbow into the corner. Dar with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Dunne and Dar go to the apron and they exchange punches and kicks. Dunne grabs the hand and pulls at the fingers. Dar with a kick to the head. Dar with a fisherman’s suplex onto the apron and both men fall to the floor after the impact.

Both men make it back into the ring at nine. They crawl to each other in the center of the ring and Dunne grabs Dar’s hand. Dar with a forearm and kicks to the leg. Dunne pulls at the fingers but Dar with an uppercut. Dunne goes for a triangle but Dar gets a near fall. Dunne goes for a cross arm breaker but Dar counters into an ankle lock but Dunne is able to power out of the hold. Both men go for clotheslines and Dunne with a forearm. Dar with a clothesline and Dunne with an enzuigiri. Dar with a clothesline and both men are down.

Dunne with a Kimura but Dar counters into a package suplex. Dar with a running kick to the knee. Dunne with a forearm to Dar and he goes for the Bitter End but Dar counters with a gutbuster into a knee bar. Dar with a grapevine of the leg but Dunne is able to get to the ropes to force a break. Dunne goes for the fingers again and he stomps on the hand and hits the Bitter End for the three count.

Winner: Pete Dunne
