Deadline is reporting that Fast and Furious producer Neal Moritz is suing Universal over the Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham spinoff, "Hobbs and Shaw" currently shooting in London. From what I can discern the article, Universal asked Moritz to renegotiate an already existing oral contract days before principle photography was said to begin. The studio wanted him to take a "substantial" decrease in pay if Moritz did not agree to these terms he would be cut out film. The longtime producer of the franchise also claim that the concept for the spinoff was his idea. He is suing to get his name back on the film and for multimillion-dollar damages for breach of contract.

Variety is reporting that Ken Jeong, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Chloe Coleman have joined Dave Bautista action comedy film, "My Spy". Peter Segal is directing the script penned by Jon and Erich Hoeber. Bautista plays a hardened CIA operative who finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, having been sent undercover to surveil her family. The film is currently in production in Toronto.
