In the latest video from the NWA, Josephus announced that he would be bringing a tag team to answer Road Warrior Animal's Tag Team Challenge at the 70th Anniversary pay-per-view this Sunday in Nashville:
The Kingdom of Josephus will be represented by original Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling star Hollywood and his "spiritual advisor' will face the team formerly known as Veterans of War Crimson and Jax Dane with Animal in their corner.
The National Wrestling Alliance 70th Anniversary event will air live on Fite.tv this Sunday 10/21 from The Nashville Fairground Arena in Nashville, TN will also feature:
*NWA Champion Cody vs. Nick Aldis - Best of Three Falls.
*NWA Women's Champion Jazz vs. Penelope Ford.
*Willie Mack vs. Jay Bradley vs. Mike Parrow vs. Ricky Starks - NWA National Title Match A.
*Sam Shaw vs. Colt Cabana, Scorpio Sky vs. Sammy Guevara - NWA National Title Match B.
*Match A and B Winners face to crown new NWA National Champion.
*Tim Storm vs. Pretty Peter Avalon.
*Former NWA Champions Jeff Jarrett, Blue Demon Jr., Tim Storm and Dory Funk Jr, will all be in attendance at the event as well.
The announcing team for the event, which will air live on iPPV (priced at $24.99) on Fite.TV, will be Joe Galli of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and Jim Cornette, while Tony Schiavone will be calling the NWA title bout via a deal reached with MLW, where Schiavone is under contract.
