Ring of Honor has announced there will be a Women of Honor tag team match at Glory By Honor:
Coming off of her defeat of Tenille Dashwood at Death Before Dishonor, Women of Honor World Champion Sumie Sakai feels like the newly minted addition of the word World to her Championship has been validated. In her first match since her victory, Sumie has signed to team up with the returning Dr. Britt Baker, DMD to take on two former proteges eager to test themselves in Jenny Rose and Stella Grey!
And to take it all in is Women of Honor star Madison Rayne, who will be joining Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana on commentary to address her status following her shot at the Women of Honor World Championship on ROH Television!
WOMEN OF HONOR WORLD CHAMPION SUMIE SAKAI & DR. BRITT BAKER, DMD vs. JENNY ROSE & STELLA GREY
Sumie Sakai, hot off a Championship defense against Tenille Dashwood, teams with Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, who is riding high after a star-making bout at All In, to take on two of Sumie’s former proteges, Jenny Rose and Stella Grey!
Rose has been entangled in a feud with Kelly Klein and will be looking to make a statement while this is a big opportunity for Stella to stand across the ring from her mentor. With no bad blood between them, competitiveness should drive Jenny and Stella against Sumie while Dr. Baker will be the wild card! A pin for Baker could help her personal climb in her return to Women of Honor and being on the apron, teaming with the World Champion would give her an up-close, personal view of the Champ.
All the while, Madison Rayne will be on commentary providing her thoughts and intentions in her first appearance since her bout against Sumie for the Women of Honor World Championship!
