BELLA-MORGAN, ALL IN ON DVD, OVW 1000th EPISODE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2018-10-04 10:01:00

I saw you have written about the OVW 1,000th episode being live on iPPV, but how long will the show be?  Will the site cover this?

To the best of my knowledge, its a two or three hour broadcast.  I intend to cover it the same way we cover any major PPV.

I missed All-In because I was traveling. Will it be available on DVD?

While no official plans have been announced, the show will likely be released on DVD by Ring of Honor but there are still replays available on Fite.tv and the ROH Honorclub.

First off, I thought you did a great job on covering the Brie Bella/Liv Morgan scenario.   Should WWE have a "hands off" policy for the other performers when there is an obvious injury? The idea being, like the NFL, instead of just pulling an injured athlete up off the ground or mat, the doctor(s) should be the ones moving them.   While I understand that she was trying to help Morgan by trying to maneuver her to the corner, Bella could've unintentionally exasperated Morgan's injury.

I honestly believe part of the issue was that in the heat of the moment, no one realized how hurt Liv Morgan was.  As I said, it was a learning moment for the company and I hope they heed that.  I think a hands off policy makes sense, but the problem inherent in pro wrestling is differentiating between an injury and someone selling.

I am a big fan of Elias, he seems to be straddling the line between heel and face perfectly which isn't an easy task, but I fear that he's doing it so well that WWE doesn't quite know what to do with him and that it may result in him being left in wrestling purgatory.   I don't think turning him to one side or the other will work, but surely they could give him a push as the guy who is out for himself and doesn't care who he crosses in doing so, right?

I think he's meant to be a heel but sometimes plays up to the crowd in order to them slap them back down and get a greater reaction doing so.  I think he's great in his role and I don't agree that he's in a bad way.  He's getting lots of exposure and as we saw this past Monday, some real heat from the fans.  I would concur that WWE has been haphazard in getting the most out of him, however.

What are the chances of Batista wrestling at Wrestlemania?

Better than they were a month ago!
