TENILLE DASHWOOD UPDATE

By Mike Johnson on 2018-09-30 09:45:00

PWInsider.com has confirmed that Tenille Dashwood, who announced at last night's Ring of Honor TV taping that she has been performing on an injured shoulder and will require surgery, has been offered a Ring of Honor contract.  Her injury is not expected to change the status of that offer and she is expected to sign with the promotion shortly.

Dashwood worked the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV this past Friday, losing to Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai.  The entire match was built around Dashwood's shoulder and arm being worked over by Sakai and she finally lost the bout when trapped in a submission, leading to the referee stopping the bout.

Later on the PPV broadcast, there was a scene where Dashwood had been attacked backstage, helping to give her a storyline reason for her time out of the ring.

As of this writing, there is no confirmation as to the severity of Dashwood's injury or how long she is expected to be out of the ring after surgery.
