WHY STROWMAN HAS BEEN A HEEL SINCE SUMMERSLAM, HALL OF FAME JOE, SASHA’S PUSH AND MORE

Would you happen to know the reason Sasha Banks isn't pushed in a main event role like previous years? I love seeing her work and feel her passion for wrestling. To me, it seems like Bayley and Sasha are on the way to tag team gold (if tag titles are created). However, since being with WWE she has great matches, did she fall out of favor with a specific group/person?

What it comes down to is that everyone can’t be in the main event.  She had her run a while back, and now the company has Ronda Rousey in that role.

Strowman tries to cash in MITB which he won fair and square. He gets jumped 3 on 1. He evens the playing field by recruiting a couple of buddies (albeit jerks). Is that really all it takes to be considered a heel nowadays? Do you suppose they're tentatively treating him as a heel, testing the waters first? They must see that this is madness turning their most over wrestler heel in the futile quest to make us cheer Reigns?

I think he has been a heel since SummerSlam.  First, he said he would take on whoever won between Reigns and Lesnar…..after they fought.  A face would have added himself to the match and beat both guys when they were fresh.  Then he did the same thing to Reigns and Balor on Monday at Raw.  That is a heel move to me.  Then, he tried to cash in on Reigns after a long, hard match, and The Shield came out to give their buddy time to recover to make it a fair fight.  To me, Lesnar was totally a heel.

Why is it that in decades of scripted, planned "sports entertainment" where we've seen just about every ridiculous angle conceivable, WWE has never tried an underdog comeback story? Would it be too predictable or too schmalzy? They kind of hinted at it with Jerry Lawler almost beating Miz for the title years ago. I could see some beloved legend like Angle, Sting, Lawler, heck even someone like Goldust win the rumble with a bit of luck, then have a "rocky balboa"-like wrestlemania match.

I think they have.  Daniel Bryan was certainly the underdog when he finally climbed the mountain and won the Title.

Have you been keeping up to date with WOS Wrestling?

I have not.  I haven’t gotten my hands on the shows yet.

On the recent article by Mike about creating a ROH HOF I was curious as to why someone like Joe wouldn't be in but Punk would when they essentially made each other while building the company?

You’d have to ask Mike about that.  If you ask me, Joe is a first ballot ROH Hall Of Fame!

Note from Mike: Obviously Joe would be a first ballot Hall of Famer, but in the article, I explained why Joe (and others) were not on my list when I wrote, "So, who should the company honor?  Well, all these things are subjective, but I will give a few suggestions, with the caveat that anyone associated, contracted to or employed by WWE is automatically disqualified on my list, since, well, WWE isn’t going to allow anyone even remotely related to their company to appear in any way for Ring of Honor."
