As noted last night, James Ellsworth was backstage at Smackdown. We are told he was there being interviewed for something related to the female talents. I am unsure as to whether it was for the WWE Evolution PPV or simply material for an upcoming WWE Network special or DVD.
WWE star Nia Jax was at the WWE Performance Center this week, doing physical therapy on her leg, which has been giving her issues and is the reason she has been off TV of late.
Announced for next week's Smackdown is Rusev and Aiden English vs. The Bar with the winners challenging WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions The New Day at the Hell in A Cell PPV.
Speaking of Hell in A Cell, the Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch match was made official last night. We had reported last week it was set for the San Antonio, Texas PPV.
WWE is holding a pre-sale today for their Monday 10/22 return to the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY today at Ticketmaster.com, using pre-sale code WWEWP. Advertised for the show is WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe, WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella, WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton plus Daniel Bryan, The Miz, The New Day, Rusev and Asuka.
Gran Metalik vs. Buddy Murphy was announced for next week's episode of 205 Live.
