I recently sent in a question which asked if Vince McMahon was worried that Wrestlemania 34 was the 7th straight year a part timer main evented the big event. The answer was no, as he continually does it and referred to the TV deals. Fair answer. To move the goalposts a little, does the same fact worry you as a Wrestling fan? I mean, once Taker and HHH cant compete and Lesnar leaves then it seems the company have done very little to invest in star power to go and main event successive Mania’s going forward and instead may turn back to Cena/Rock et al?

I can tell you are not an Elite member.  If you were, you would know I have been making this point for a long, long time now!

I'm not sure how versed on the upcoming FOX TV contract you are but I was wondering... Say the ratings bomb on Friday nights, could FOX just cancel Smack down like they would any other TV show? 

This will be treated like FOX treats Thursday Night Football.  It’s a rights fee deal, not a standard TV show deal.  There may be a clause for a catastrophe in there but beyond that nope, they will run for five years, at least.

If Natalya was WWE champ right now would she be expected to wrestle at Summerslam? Just wondering what happens when a tragedy like this happens and your a champion or challenger to title at a major PPV?

I think that the company would give her the option.  My hunch is that given her background and roots in the business, she would wrestle to honor her father.

Do the names Hanson and Rowe sound too similar to another tag team with a similar style, Harper and Rowan?  Since Harper and Rowan are the established team in WWE, should they have changed the names of the War Raiders to avoid any confusion that may arise?

There is a similarity for sure.  But it’s not an issue while they are down in NXT.  If they come up to the main roster, they will probably be War Raiders and maybe given different names.

Thanks for answering my question some time ago regarding you not wanting to see Brock bring the universal title into the octagon for his UFC fight.  Looking at it from the other angle, if he does manage to win the UFC title, do you think he should bring the UFC belt to WWE TV?

Honestly, no, for the same reason.  I don’t think UFC gets anything positive out of their Title being on a worked program.  The buzz it would get from being there may tick off their fanbase that does not like and appreciate wrestling.  And, UFC would probably be very leery of how Brock would be used in WWE if he were also their champ.  They can’t work things like WWE does or it kills their credibility.
