WWE released their brand-new, excellent WWE Chronicle documentary on former ROH and TNA Champion Samoa Joe, who will challenge for the WWE Championship tomorrow against long-time rival in each of those promotions, AJ Styles, at Summerslam.
The documentary focuses mostly on the last several months of Joe's career but also dives backwards into the background of his life, family and career, crossing back and forth from "in character" to the real life Samoa Joe effortlessly and in a way that really engages the viewer. I would be stunned if you didn't come out of watching it far more interested in Samoa Joe the person and performer. It really is an extremely well done doc.
You can and should watch this as it's probably the best thing to pop on the WWE Network this summer:
