If you were booking the card for NXT Takeover over Mania weekend, what is your main event?

It would be really hard to know where NXT is six months from now, but in a perfect world, I would book the first-ever WWE NXT Hell In A Cell bout, with Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa in the final chapter of their feud.  I would also load up the show as something greater than "just" the usual Takeover event, including Velveteen Dream getting a major title shot "for the first time."

You have noted that you thought Ring of Honor should do an afternoon show so that fans could attend both shows.  Any idea why that didn't happen.

My gut feeling is that a big part of it is that if New Japan wants to stream the show live on New Japan World over in Japan, the time difference of running the show would place it at 2 or 3 AM.  At 8 PM EST, it would be 9 AM in Japan, making it a lot easier for fans wanting to stream it.

If you were booking the card for the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard over Mania weekend, what is your main event?

I think the safe idea, since we don't know what the status of Bullet Club will be come 2019, is Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada.

What's going on with Howard Finkel? Why hasn't he called the past two WrestleMania, even the Hall of Fame introductions?

Jerry Lawler made reference to Finkel having health issues on his podcast awhile back.  I don't have any independent confirmation of that but really, sincerely hope that is not the case.  Finkel, to me, is a national treasure and one of the best ring announcers of all time.  He was also one of the nicest people I have ever met over the course of covering the business and gave us a really fun interview when Legends House was launched.  Finkel was not, to the best of my knowledge, at Wrestlemania 34 but the year before, was indeed in Orlando and we are told by a source that he had the option of doing the show but did not do it.

Do you think we'll ever see Joey Ryan brought into NXT in order to team with Candice LaRae again?

Never say never, but this isn't something I'd expect anytime soon.
