You probably get this a bunch, but with All In coming up and a sold out MSG show on the horizon, could this Ring of Honor/New Japan alliance plus the wrestlers involved) be setting the beginning seeds of true competition for the WWE, the way WCW was?  I’m not saying it’s happening right now, but could they eventually step up sooner rather than later?

I think it’s great for the business that this is happening.  The one thing that a lot of adult fans have been clamoring for is an alternative to WWE that appeals to them.  They are getting one in New Japan and ROH and that is great for both the fans and the business on the whole.  I don’t know about competition in the strictest sense of the word since WWE will be getting over 500 million dollars a year for their US rights feels alone starting next year.  That is very hard to actually compete with as they have a huge financial base in their favor.  I think the better term is viable alternative, for both wrestlers and fans.  Personally, I love what is going on right now.

NXT is the minor leagues, so to speak, for most talents. Does the same hold true for refs?

It is the developmental area for both.  I don’t think it’s fair to say Minor League.  The talents do Major League work.

So we know how you would want the Universal title picture to play out if Strowman keeps the case. But what would you want to happen if Owens wins it?

I posed a scenario where KO beat Braun on Sunday and cashes in.  I would be fine with that as Strowman, and even Roman Reigns, could chase him for the Title.  They could have KO carry the belt through the fall and winter, into Mania season.  I would be fine with that.  I just want it off of Brock.

Who do you believe the the biggest star WWE has ever created? Obviously The Rock dominates Hollywood at present, but Hulk Hogan was 1 of the biggest stars of the 80’s (in any industry), Brock Lesnar is one of the most worldwide known athletes today, Steve Austin didn’t do a great deal outside of wrestling even a guy who has never heard of WWE knows Austin’s catchphrases, Even Cena/Batista are becoming mega stars in their own right.

By your criteria, The Rock.  He has drawn the most money (in Hollywood).  Hogan did well, but the Rock did better.  And, Hogan wasn’t completely a WWE creation.  The Rock was.

Who do you believe has been the most loved WWE wrestler of all time. By which I mean the vast majority of the audience would cheer for consistency. Personal choice Jeff Hardy, he’s been a babyface since the ladder match at No Mercy 99, with the exception of his 1 week heel turn.

That’s a tough one.  Jeff Hardy is a very good choice, for sure.
