In my opinion, the one special moment missing from the Women's Royal Rumble was some sort of interaction between Trish Stratus and Lita. Since they are both advertised for the Evolution PPV, WWE has a second chance to create that moment. Given the historical significance of these two women and their feud with respect to women's wrestling as a whole, do you think it's an absolute must that they have some sort of interaction on the PPV, whether it be during a match, or in a promo segment either backstage or in front of the live crowd?
I think they should, and will, have a “wow, can you believe this” kind of moment at the show. It would shock me if they didn’t given their status as pioneers of the division.
Do you think the reason why the likes of Alexa Bliss and Carmella are being pushed and the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley and Asuka are not is because both Bliss and Carmella fit the supermodel mold while Banks, Bayley and Asuka do not?
That would be a big, fat no. And Alexa Bliss is five feet tall. Supermodels are much taller than that. Bliss is money in all aspects, which is why she is getting her push. In Carmella’s case, it’s her turn. Let’s see how long it lasts.
As you've said many, many times, creative ends and begins with Vince's vision for it. Triple H seems to be more in tune with the fans and has already begun leading the company into a more Future First policy with NXT, the performance center(s), etc. So when Vince passes the reigns over to Paul and Stephanie do you think they will also be the end-all when it comes to creative and storylines? Or will they use the writing team in a different way than Vince seems to by giving them more freedom?
I expect changes but there needs to be one person that sets the tone for the creative direction, and that will probably be HHH. I think we will see changes, such as more logic and continuity, but I don’t think the main roster will become NXT. WWE got their big money TV deals by being “more than just wrestling” so I expect a lot of the show aspects to stay the same, and that’s fine. As long as things get tightened up so that it appeals to adults and kids, it’s a winning situation.
How about bringing in Jericho to take the title off Lesnar? I think Lesnar would be willing to drop the belt to a legend like Jericho. Jericho would be more than willing to do business right by dropping the title at the right time. New Japan gets an indirect rub from Jericho, their IC champ, winning the belt. And even with touring with Fozzy, Jericho probably would do more dates than Lesnar? Thoughts?
Lesnar will drop the Title to whoever Vince says to drop it to. I hate this idea. Jericho is a nearing 50 year old part timer. Brock needs to put over a current, full time guy. My hope is that man is Braun Strowman.
I saw lots of Coliseum Home Videos being released to the network and saw that they added a video for Sunny. Given her current situation, don't you feel this may not have been the best move to make?
I have no problem with them putting up her video. She’s a Hall Of Famer after all. I wouldn’t go out of my way to advertise it if I were them, but I have no problem with them putting it on the Network.
