BRAUN CASHING IN TONIGHT, WHEN TO RAMP UP SMACKDOWN FOR FOX, GIVING THE WOMEN THEIR OWN SHOW AND MORE

It's been said several times that when Smackdown moves to Fox in the Fall of 2019, WWE needs to treat both Raw and Smackdown as equal. I agree. So with only about a year to go, shouldn't the WWE start to position Smackdown as such right now as soon a possible? A year is pretty short if you think about it and if they want to change the perception of the audience, it won't happen in a month's time. They could have easily started with making the WWE title the main event at Extreme Rules, and even made the big Women's Evolution PPV announcement on Smackdown instead. Small steps, but a big impact in fans' perceptions.

I don’t think it’s a priority yet.  Raw isn’t doing all that many more viewers than Smackdown is right now.  If it’s me, I start the ramp up after we get through Mania and into SummerSlam next year.  Then let it carry over.

With Brock appearing on Raw, could you see Braun coming to the ring and cashing in on him? Since Brock is probably going to be gone for a while, I think it be a good chance to have Braun lay him out and destroy him. That would also save from putting the title on Roman at Summerslam. You could still put Roman in the title match but you wouldn’t have to change the title.

I would love if Braun cashed in tonight and took the Title off of Lesnar.  I don’t need to see Roman vs. Lesnar again.

With the launch of the all women’s PPV, “Evolution”. Do you ever see the WWE splitting the women away and giving them their own weekly show on the network (ala 205 live). They could still do women’s matches on Raw and Smackdown.

I don’t see any need for that.  They are already on the shows that bring in revenue.  I don’t see any reason to create a new show for them, at a cost to the company, when the women are already being feature on USA.  205 Live wasn’t in that position.  They were on Raw, but hardly featured.

Just watching some old TNA, why did they turn Don West Heel? It didn't lead to anything except West being a dick on commentary for many months before moving into the sales end of things and random manager duties for Amazing Red.

The easy answer is: Because they are TNA and that’s what they do.

Now that they have announced the Evolution, do think they should also use women refs?  IMO, I think it shows more areas of the business that women can break into.

Yes, I do. I  think the show should be all about the women.  I would like a women’s announce team as well, though I don’t know that they will go that far.
