Do you guys think it's a great idea to have the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden go head-to-head with NXT Takeover just across the river at the Barclays Center? That is some heavy competition right there. In my opinion, it would be better suited to that Friday instead where fans can attend all the big shows.

If it was my call, I would start the ROH/New Japan show at 2 PM Eastern on Saturday for several reasons.  One, there’s no reason to split the audience with the NXT crowd.  Two, it sets the stage for a show NXT has to beat from an in-ring perspective.  Three (and most importantly) ROH likes to run long with their major events.  They are going to be running a major league, union-run building and if they run late, it’s going to cost them an insane amount of money.  The earlier they start, the more leeway they will have to go as long as they want.  They won't run a three hour show and they don’t want to be running MSG until 1 AM, especially when it’s going to be the most expensive investment in the history of Ring of Honor.

I’ve been watching MLW lately and I really enjoy the product. There is a lot of talent from Impact Wrestling on their roster such as Sami Callahan, Su Young Rich Swann to name a few. Austin Aries also made a few appearances too. Why don’t they acknowledge Impact? Su Young is the Knockouts Champion and Aries is the World Champ. It’s just like a parallel universe. Just kind of weird.

Why would they acknowledge Impact?  Their storylines have nothing to do with Impact and since Impact now has non-exclusive deals that allow their talents to work elsewhere outside of WWE, there’s no need to bring them up.  MLW is building their brand.  It’s not their job to build Impact’s.

It's been said several times that when Smackdown moves to Fox in the Fall of 2019, WWE needs to treat both Raw and Smackdown as equal. I agree. So with only about a year to go, shouldn't the WWE start to position Smackdown as such right now as soon a possible? A year is pretty short if you think about it and if they want to change the perception of the audience, it won't happen in a month's time. They could have easily started with making the WWE title the main event at Extreme Rules, and even made the big Women's Evolution PPV announcement on Smackdown instead. Small steps, but a big impact in fans' perceptions.

I agree.  For a long time, Smackdown has been treated as a secondary brand.  I think WWE should do everything in their power to present the brand as important as Raw.  Why they aren’t already doing that is something that I don’t understand but they may have a marketing campaign they are waiting to unveil as they get closer to the FOX move.

So Vince McMahon wasn't at the meetings with Fox and instead was George Barrios, Michelle Wilson, Paul Levesque, and Stephanie McMahon. The fact that Vince wasn't there, is that a sign that he is slowing down in his role as chairman rather than leading on?

It's a sign that Vince implicitly trusted his team to get it done.

Where is Hanson from the War Raiders from?  He looks like a friend I went to High School with in Wisconsin!

It's likely not your friend.  Hanson is from New England.
