With Smackdown Live moving to Fridays on FOX next year, what does that mean for 205 Live? Thanks.

Nothing has been determined as of this point, we are told.  That said, I have thought about that a bit.  It really all depends on whether they want the series to remain on Tuesdays. If so, they could just tape it Mondays before Raw and begin filming Main Event before Smackdowns on Friday.  Main Event is hardly an important show in terms of WWE continuity, so they could air it on a seven-day delay.  The other idea could be to move 205 Live to Thursdays.  They could make NXT live every Wednesday from Full Sail and when that goes off the air, tape 205 Live and air it on a 24-hour tape delay.  All of those could be solid options for that brand going forward after WWE changes its taping schedule.

My Question is about the question answered about Owen Hart. I enjoyed the answer given but had my own idea. How about the WWE and Martha Hart sit down and make an agreement that allows Owen into the HOF and allows WWE to sell merchandise and in exchange the WWE can give a certain percentage of the profits to the Owen Hart foundation. This way WWE and the fans win, and The Owen Hart foundation win as well. Maybe even create a “King of Hearts” Award. Do you think Martha would agree?

You missed the most important point of my answer.  Martha Hart has no interest, nor should she have any interest in working with WWE in any way, shape or form.  She holds them responsible for the death of her husband and shouldn’t have to compromise that to make wrestling fans happy.  It’s not going to happen.

Sad news indeed regarding Brickhouse Brown.  Although Memphis wrestling’s heyday was slightly before my time, I remember seeing him on TV regularly in USWA.  I happened to stumble across one of his matches online vs. a guy named Detroit Demolition, (who would later go on to become Moondog Rex).  His ring gear was the exact same look that Ax & Smash wore in WWF about a decade later.  Was this a total coincidence, or was this Vince’s inspiration for Demolition?

Moondog Rex was the original Demolition Smash.  He was playing off of that after he was replaced by Barry Darsow in the role.

First Nakamura in WWE, then Aries at Impact and now, from your report, Bully Ray in ROH.  Why do we have a sudden trend for low blows?  If everybody is doing it why don’t all wrestlers (kayfabe) wear a cup?  I don’t feel I should watch wrestling with my ‘nads tucking themselves away in fear all the time!!!

Like all other breeds of entertainment, something happens, it gets a reaction and it creates a trend.  It’ll pass.

I read where Deonna Purrazzo has been signed by NXT. Is this true?

Yes.  We reported it at the time.
