The South China Morning Post featured an interview with former WWE NXT talent Ho Hoi Lun about his time with the company, building pro wrestling on Hong Kong and beyond at this link. The article noted that Lun’s mother passed away from breast cancer earlier this year. Lun had requested a release in order to return home to assist her due to her illness. Lun is promoting an event on 7/31.
WWE NXT has a live event tonight in Sanford, Florida at the Sanford Civic Center. If anyone is attending, we are seeking live reports.
The latest name added to the 8/25 Stand Alone Wrestling Boardwalk Beatdown convention in Atlantic City, NJ at the Claridge is former WWE star Aksana. This will be her first appearance in the pro wrestling world since right after her initial WWE release.
