Australian star Rhea Ripley will be competing in the Mae Young Classic for the second year in a row. Ripley, 21-years-old went to the second round of the tournament last year. Ripley's involvement in the tournament was first reported via the Advertiser newspaper in Australia.
Ripley is the third competitor confirmed for the second annual tournament, which will be taped on 8/9 and 8/10 at Full Sail University in Florida for future airing on the WWE Network.
Earlier today, WWE announced that former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn would be appearing in the tournament, making her first WWE appearance since 2014.
Several days ago, our own Mike Johnson confirmed that Vernice Gabriel, a female star in the Philippines, had been booked for the Mae Young Classic as well.
