In your opinion, what are the odds that EVOLVE someday ends up on the WWE Network?

They have a good working relationship with HHH so you never know down the road how it will go.  I won’t lay odds since it’s impossible to predict the future.  Right now, that isn’t something WWE has been doing.  But, that could change in the future.

I saw a guy that runs a site that rips off the news you report saying how hard it is for him because he has to listen to all of the audio shows to find news to steal.  Obviously, the guy is a loser because he leeches off of you guys, but isn’t he also a complete piece of garbage for complaining about actually having to do some “work” in order to steal the stuff he gets paid to post on his site?

Yep, he is indeed.  If your job is to steal other people’s hard work and it’s too much for you, well you are a lazy piece of garbage.  No doubt about it.

Do you think the new TV deals will change the perception of WWE by the multitude of cynics, particularly in the mainstream media, who typically look down on WWE and pro wrestling in general?

In a lot of ways, I think the change in perception from the mainstream media towards the business has helped get them the TV deals.  ESPN covers them.  NBC has Cena on the Today show.  USA has the Miz show.  E! has the Divas.  Etc.  In 2018, things have changed.  Anything that can garner an audience will get coverage today.  WWE definitely has an audience.

I know that if I ask about the epidemic of sudden face/heel turns you will say that's the way WWE does things these days, but what do you think about how they turn wrestlers with little or no explanation?  Case in point: the Usos were the top heel tag team for the past year or so, but all of a sudden they team them up with Jeff Hardy and we are expected to cheer them for literally no reason other than ultra-popular Jeff is their partner.  I'm all for a good turn, but at least give me SOME reason to care about it.

Yep, they don’t feel the need to explain things a lot of the time.  What do I think?  I think that they should explain everything that they do.  I think that stories come across better if people know why things are happening.  I think it would be easy to take a little extra time and explain things to the audience.  I wish they would do it more.

A few months ago, the idea of a Daniel Bryan return was unfathomable.  Now that he's back, we have seen him wrestle just about every week on TV, often in relatively meaningless matches.  I get that he wanted to return to a full-time schedule, but do you think that for every random, meaningless match he is in, it makes his return less special?

I can see how you feel that way.  I look at it a bit differently.  He was away for years, so I don’t want to rush him back to a top spot and into epic matches for a couple of reasons.  One, I want him to work off the rust.  More importantly, I want to see if he can hold up to the rigors of the business before I elevate him up the card.  To me, I take it somewhat easy with him until we get up until Rumble season.  If he is still going strong, then I know I can push him going into my most important time of the year.  The last thing I want to do is put him into a top program and have him break down.  So, I think it makes sense to take it slowly with him at first.
