Great job on the site as always.  I have a quick question about Big Van Vader.  I seem to remember a wrestler named Leon White in the WWWF, and I remember him wrestling a few television matches against Ivan Putski early in Putski’s career.  Was that the same wrestler as the man who would become Vader?  Thanks as always.

That would be a completely different wrestler.  Vader didn’t start wrestling until the late 1980s and Putski began his career many years before that.

How is the All In event being distributed? Is it gonna be on IPPV? Will they have a distribution deal?

Nothing has been made official yet, but the show will air.  I have heard AXS TV has made overtures about carrying the show, but we haven’t heard there is a deal in place.

My first question is kind of odd, but I figured I'd ask anyway. My nephew who is 11 just got into wrestling over the past year and brought up a question to me the other day about why pay-per-views are generally on a Sunday where most kids wouldn't get the chance to finish watching the show live because it's a school night. I am 25 and for as long as I can remember pay per views were always on a Sunday. Was this always the case or just something that evolved as the pay-per-view industry grew?

It was something that happened over time.  Initially, PPVs were usually on Sunday but shows would also take place on Mondays and other days as well.  Once Raw locked in Mondays, they usually held shows on Sunday.  I personally think they would be better off moving to other days, but with UFC usually running Saturday nights, I can see why WWE wants to avoid going head to head.

My second question is a Ring of Honor related question. Do you know if Ring of Honor has any plans to bring back the Field of Honor event in Brooklyn this year? I attended the previous three Field of Honor shows and absolutely loved it but since there was no show last year I was wondering if there was any chance they were going to bring it back.

No scheduled return this summer that we have heard.

Is WWE running any dark matches while they do these drawn-out recaps segments of feuds during RAW? Or has the house crowd been forced to watch tv from the arena's? I understand why they are cutting back on in-ring product Close to big shows , but this has to kill the live crowd.

Sometimes they will have talents cut a promo, but usually, the live crowd are watching the videos on the screen.  They don’t do dark matches during such videos.  As someone who has sat through as many live TV tapings as you can imagine, I can attest that it does kill the enthusiasm of the live crowd, but it’s a necessary evil.
