MLW FUSION REPORT: COULD KING COLLECT THE BOUNTY?, COULD BRAZIL END HIS LOSING STREAK?, AND MORE

We start with Salina de la Renta announcing the bounty on Shane Strickland.  Shane says he is not worried about the bounty as he is attacked by Brody King.  We are told that Strickland will face Brody King this week.

We are in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Tony Schiavone and Rich Bocchini.

Match Number One:  Trey Miguel versus Danny Santiago

Before Santiago can get into the ring, he is attacked by Teddy Hart.  Hart sends Santiago into a chair.  Hart with an Arabian Press onto Santiago.

Officials check on Santiago.

Court Bauer tells the referee to let Hart wrestle.

Match Number One:  Teddy Hart versus Trey Miguel

Hart with a power slam and then he goes for an Arabian Press but he lands on Miguel’s knees.  Miguel with an enzuigiri and then he hits a springboard plancha.  Miguel with an Irish whip and then Miguel kicks Hart as Hart tries to float over.  Miguel puts Hart’s head against the turnbuckles and then Miguel with a 619 and Meteora for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Miguel with forearms in the corner.  Miguel with an Irish whip and Hart floats over and stands on Miguel’s back before hitting a Canadian Destroyer for a near fall.  Hart with an elbow to Miguel and then he puts Miguel in the ropes and catapults him into the top rope.  Hart with a package DDT for a near fall. 

Hart gets Miguel on his shoulders and hits a lungblower for a near fall.  Hart with a punch and then he puts Miguel on the turnbuckles and chops him.  Hart sets for a superplex but Miguel lands on his feet and hits an uppercut.  Miguel with a cutter off the ropes but Hart gets his hand on the ropes to stop the referee’s count.  They go to the apron and Miguel with a scorpion kick followed by a cutter on the apron.  Miguel sends Hart back into the ring and Hart has his foot on the ropes to stop the referee’s count. 

Miguel puts Hart on the turnbuckles and takes too much time.  Hart with a chop and back breaker onto the turnbuckles.  Hart with a lungblower and then he puts Miguel on the turnbuckles.  Hart with a super Canadian Destroyer for the three count.

Winner:  Teddy Hart

We see Kotto Brazil and he is asked about his match with Rich Swann.  He says he looks up to Rich Swann but he cannot keep losing matches.  He has to show that he can and that he will.

Teddy Hart is interviewed and asked if he is in MLW.  Teddy says he hopes MLW has the balls to continue to book him.  He has heat from the back.  He is here to make his grandfather and family in heaven proud of him.  He says the fans are proud to see him so he will come back any time they want to use him.

ACH stops by and Teddy has something to say to him and he wants to settle things outside.

ACH says there is nothing to worry about as he is joined by Rich Swann.

We go to commercial.

We are back for the Battle Riot Control Center.  The newest entrants in the Battle Riot are Rich Swann, Jason Cade, Joey Ryan, Pierre Carl Oulette, Kevin Sullivan, ACH, Swoggle, John Morrison, Lance Anoa’i, Konnan, Sami Callihan, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and Teddy Hart.  The Hart Foundation (with Brian Pillman II) will face ACH and Rich Swann.  Jimmy Havoc will wrestle Pentagon Jr.

We see footage from last week’s episode when Parrow and the Dirty Blondes lost their matches and we are told that Colonel Robert Parker has filed a protest with the MLW offices over the officiating.

Robert Parker tells his men to go do their workout.  He mentions to Vanessa Craft about the cup of coffee he offered her last time they talked. 

We see Team Filthy go into the locker room for the Stud Stable. 

Match Number Two:  Barrington Hughes versus Harris Pati

Pati charges at Hughes but Hughes moves.  Hughes with a head butt and elbow drop for the three count.

Winner:  Barrington Hughes

We go to commercial.

We are back and Robert Parker is walking in the hallway and Simon Gotch and Tom Lawlor tell him that they found his hat and he got it cleaned up for him.  Parker sees his hat and he says there is dookie in his hat.

Match Number Three:  Kotto Brazil versus Vandal Ortagun

Ortagun offers his hand but it was a trap and he kicks Brazil.  Ortagun with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Brazil leaps over Ortagun and follows with a back heel kick and drop kick.  Brazil with a rolling shoulder into the corner followed by an uppercut.  Brazil misses a splash in the corner and Ortagun hits a neck breaker for a near fall.

Ortagun with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Brazil with forearms and kicks but Ortagun with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall.  Ortagun with a cross body to the back with Brazil in the ropes and Ortagun gets a near fall.  Ortagun with forearms to the back followed by a chop.  Brazil floats over in the corner and gets a near fall with a sunset flip.  Brazil with clotheslines and then he hits a running European uppercut in the corner.  Brazil sends Ortagun into the turnbuckles and hits a German suplex.  Brazil pulls himself to the top turnbuckle and he goes for the frog splash but Ortagun gets his knees up.  Ortagun with a lungblower for a near fall.  Brazil with a rollup for a near fall.  Brazil with a punch but Ortagun with a knee and forearm followed by a back breaker for a near fall.  Brazil with a kick and super kick.  Brazil with a running Shiranui for the three count.

Winner:  Kotto Brazil

We go to Salina de la Renta.  Salina insults the interviewer and she says that the gold is hers.  While the guys are out having fun celebrating, she is still here.  This is not enough.  She says she is still after the World Championship and Shane Strickland’s head.  She wants it on a platter and she wants him to suffer.  She wishes Brody King luck.

We see Barrington Hughes and Shane Strickland walking in the back and Leon Scott and Sawyer Fulton figure that they can each get $10,000 for taking out Strickland. 

Hughes tells Strickland to go to the ring and he will take care of Fulton and Scott.

Match Number Four:  Brody King versus Shane Strickland in a Non Title Bounty Match

King with forearms as Strickland enters the ring.  Strickland with a kick and waist lock.  King backs Strickland into the turnbuckles and hits a series of elbows.  Strickland with elbows and a knee to send King to the floor.  Strickland drop kicks King off the apron.  Strickland with a boot to the head.

Strickland with more kicks from the apron.  Strickland goes for a move off the apron onto King who is in a chair but King catches him and power bombs Strickland onto the apron.  King gets a near fall.  King with a chop and slam followed by a back senton for a near fall.  Strickland with a chop and punches.

Strickland gets King to flinch on a kick.  King sends Strickland into the ropes and hits a cannonball to the back for a near fall.  King slams Strickland’s head into the mat.  King with chops.  Strickland slaps King and connects with a forearm.  King with chops as they go back and forth.  Strickland with a series of knees but King with a kick.  Strickland with a German suplex but King pops up before Strickland.  King gets Strickland on his shoulders but Strickland with a drop kick for a near fall.  Strickland with a running European uppercut and he hits two more.  King holds on to the ropes on a snap mare attempt and he sends Strickland into the turnbuckles.

Strickland floats over and kicks King in the midsection.  Strickland with a slingshot sunset flip followed by a kick to the head.  Strickland gets a near fall.  Strickland sets for a half nelson suplex but King with elbows.  Strickland with knees and a bicycle kick.  Strickland with another bicycle kick and a round kick to the temple.  King with a clothesline and power bomb for a near fall.  King with a giant swing and Strickland goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and King follows Strickland to the floor.  Strickland sends a chair at King’s knee and then Strickland with a double jump round kick.  Strickland goes to the apron and he hits a Swerve Stomp onto the chair.  Strickland rolls King into the ring and he gets a near fall.  Strickland stands on King’s head and he goes for a wrist lock and he connects with axe kicks and stomps to the head. 

Strickland with a bicycle kick to the head but King gets back to his feet.  Strickland with a kick and King spits in his face.  King with a clothesline and he hits the All Seeing Eye for a near fall.  King goes under the ring for powder and he enters the ring.  Strickland kicks King’s hand and the powder goes into his eyes.  Strickland pulls down his knee pad and connects with a knee for the three count.

Winner:  Shane Strickland (retains Championship)

After the match, Low Ki comes to the ring and attacks Strickland.

Salina de la Renta joins Low Ki in the ring as they stand over Strickland.

Low Ki kicks Strickland in the head.  He picks up the title belt and then he puts it on top of Strickland.

We go to credits.
