The San Diego City Council will be proclaiming tomorrow, 6/19 to be Rey Mysterio Day in the city of San Diego, the hometown of the former WWE and WWE World champion.
The news was first reported by LuchaCentral.com.
There will be an official ceremony tomorrow morning at 10 AM Pacific at the Council Chambers honoring Mysterio.
Thus far in 2018, Mysterio made a return to WWE at the Royal Rumble, made his official debut in New Japan Pro Wrestling and is part of the new Luchaverse comic book series that was officially announced earlier this month.
