When negotiating TV deals, do the big TV companies such as FOX or NBC have the power to make certain demands or suggestions with regards to the booking of how certain marquee wrestlers are used?  For example, could FOX have said something like "we'll give you the money, but only if you keep the title on Lesnar for another year," or "we'll do the deal, but only if you immediately put the title on Ronda Rousey"?

USA has had input to the WWE product for years.  They have asked for things, like McMahons on TV, and also for the third hour of Raw.  So yes, the TV partners definitely have some say in the product.

I just finished NXT Takeover Chicago and WOW!  I've never seen a bad Takeover, but the last two in a row have been phenomenal top to bottom.  Amazing wrestling and storytelling.  You guys often get the will WWE be better if/when HHH is handed the reigns question.  I know it's hard to say for sure, but with these great Takeover shows you gotta say there's hope right?

There is absolutely hope, no doubt.    To be fair, it’s a lot harder to book WWE over NXT, given how much product they have to deliver.  But from what I have seen from HHH’s product, the attention to detail is there and I think that is one thing that falls through the cracks at time on the main roster. So, I say there is definitely hope and the future is promising.

Do you think if NXT had the exposure the main roster does and was on a network fans would eventually make it the #1 show?  In comparison I don't see how any fan could prefer a main roster PPV to a Takeover event.

I think if NXT stayed in its current form, probably not.  Part of what makes WWE appeal to a wide fan base is that it’s more than “just wrestling”.  There are people that don’t care about how great a match is, they like the pageantry.  With that said, I think NXT could definitely be a viable brand on its own if it were to get TV.

With some mid card to lower tier talent (I.e. Koko B. Ware, Rikishi, etc.) being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, do you think Haku will get inducted? He is a former tag champion and was a decent mid card worker.  Your thoughts?

If Koko is in there, I don’t see why Haku can’t!

Did I just see a spoiler for NXT with juice?  How does that fit into the PG era?

NXT is on the Network, not on national TV.  Plus, there is blood in matches sometimes.  They just shy away from doing it intentionally.
