I would like to have your comments on Shinsuke Nakamura and the fact that he keeps « low-blowing » everyone. I don’t like it and it makes him look bad, there are other ways for a heel to win, Kevin Owens is a great example, at least when he was winning... is it creative that decides the low-blows ? Is he gonna keep doing that for long ?

First off yes, it’s creative’s decision.  They book the finishes, not the wrestlers.  As to why?  Well, they think it works in making him a heel.  I am with you, it does nothing for me.

Really did Boogeyman ate real worms? Really did his opponents did the same?

He definitely put them in his mouth and on the faces of the guys he worked against.  I honestly can’t say if he, or they, ate them.

Quick, simple question— why do death match wrestlers do what they do?

The two reasons I have heard are:

1) They just love working that kind of match.

2) That is the only way that they can get booked, doing those kind of brutal bouts.

Can’t help but feel WWE missed a trick with Baron Corbin - he could’ve been booked in a fairly entertaining programme with anyone, culminating in a hair vs hair match (which he then loses). Much better than his current programme where we have a commissioner, GM and ‘constable’ for Raw.

I agree with you on that.  I think they have used him badly on the main roster thus far and the Constable character is goofy.  But, if it leads to, say, a match with Kurt Angle and Corbin gets a win, it would work out in the end.  We shall see.

Why is WWE so bad this time of year? For a number of years, straight after Wrestlemania it just gets bad until Summerslam, I find it strange have you any explanation for it?

I have noticed the same exact thing and was talking with Mike Johnson about it the other day.  The best theory I have is that after Mania, they kind of coast along until they build it back up for SummerSlam.  I don’t know if it’s a conscious decision on their part or if it’s due to a post Mania lull, but I have definitely noticed that the product drops off every year around May.  And TV ratings reflect that.
