ROODE: WWE SEEKING TO BUILD A 'NEW, LARGER' PERFORMANCE CENTER

By Mike Johnson on 2018-06-11 18:25:00

WWE is seeking to build a new, larger WWE Performance Center facility, according to former WWE United States and NXT Champion Bobby Roode.  Roode mentioned WWE’s plans today during a promotional appearance on KARK-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas to promote tonight’s Raw taping at the Verizon Arena.

While discussing the NXT brand and the Performance Center Roode commented, ““From what I hear, it’s going to continue to grow.  I heard that they’re looking to build a new facility — a larger facility.”

The existing WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida launched in July 2013.  The 26,000 square foot Performance Center houses seven wrestling rings, a complete production studio, medical and physical rehab facilities, a complete gym and more.  You can read my coverage from attending and touring the opening of the PC in 2013 by clicking here.

PWInsider.com has reached out to WWE seeking further clarification on Roode’s comments.
