GREAT BOOKERS, OWEN HART’S LEGACY, LOGIC IS ADAPTABLE IN WWE AND MORE

I know WWE doesn't have a logic editor, and we're not supposed to remember details.  But how many years have we heard 'the referee's decision is always final," yet it wasn't final in the six-woman tag match on Raw despite the referee allowing Bayley to be in the match?  The goal may've been to get heel heat for Baron Corbin, but it just made me hate an awful logic gap.

They could make the case that someone in power could overrule it, since he represents Stephanie.  Also, Corbin did explain that Bayley wasn’t legally a member in the match so the ref made an error.  With that being said, it does beg the question why authority don’t overrule them more often.  At the end of the day, logic gets thrown out the window.

I remember during the early 90's in the NY metro area WFAN radio did a 1 hour wrestling show on Saturday nights with Jody McDonald and Rich Mancuso.  I also recall a section in the NY Daily news on Tuesdays I believe where some wrestling rumors and news were reported.  Of course this was all before the days of Internet and social media.  Just wanted to ask if you remember this and if so what were your thoughts on both?

I didn’t hear much of Jody’s Mac’s NYC show, but I did hear him on WIP in Philly.  He understood sports very well.  Wrestling?  Well, he was more of fan than an authority.  I heard him say things that showed me he didn’t really get how the business worked.  I remember two writers for the Daily News.  One of them was a guy named The Slammer.  The other one was yours truly.  I had a Saturday column for a few years.

In your opinion, who do you think is the greatest booker in wrestling history, and why?

There were too many great bookers to say who was the best.  There is also personal preference.  So I will just say that Vince McMahon has to be the best because he made the most money, and that is the ultimate goal.

The day after the anniversary of Owen Hart's death this month, Bret Hart made this post on his official FB page: "I miss you every day Owen, and I vow to keep your memory alive despite the efforts to let you fade away." Who do you think he's referring to? Martha Hart?

Yes, I think he was referring to Martha since she has not let WWE memorialize her late husband.

With all of Cody's success since leaving WWE I was wondering what happened to Ryback, Swagger and Sandow? Ryback and Swagger talked up this big game when they left and Sandow had tons of momentum behind him when he was released.

Swagger is working for MLW and has a prominent role.  Ryback has been working indies.  Sandow went to work for TNA for a while but left last year.  He said it was to focus on acting.
