Former Houston Oilers Quarterback Oliver Luck, who has a long history of working in management of different sports leagues, will be the CEO and commissioner of Vince McMahon’s revived XFL football league, which is slated to play its first game in 2020.  Luck will be leaving a position with the NCAA for the XFL.  In an email to ESPN, Luck commented, “The XFL will be a labor of love as I get to combine my experiences as a player and executive.  I am thrilled to have this unique opportunity to reimagine the game that has been a constant in my life for 40 years."  Luck is the father of Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck.  Thanks to Joe Mientus.
